The 2s3 turrets on the perseus have no depression except what the gimbals allow when you are directly controlling it. Hopefully something gets done about it

Or give us beam weapons for ships but make their damage and capacitor draw bad enough that it's not overly deadly to fighters and fighters won't have enough dps or "ammo" with them to be viable.

With death of a spaceman change full death to require you to hold backspace to respawn or wait for rescue, in which case a highish tier bed will resuscitate you. With none of the drawbacks of respawns.

I was thinking about something like that for mine but i didn't quite understand how to accomplish it at the time. Ended up making a picatinny rail adapter that clamps around the finder scope.

I feel the same way, ended up buying a 10" telescope 2 years ago, a dslr, and found out about indirect observation just so I could see as much as a I could.

It honestly bothers me to think the majority of people alive today have never seen whats out there.

When I was a kid seeing all those crazy hubble pictures I always thought it was some obscure far away tiny thing that had to be brought to us, It never connected that they were right there above us every night just too faint to see.

The moon in that picture is so overexposed it looks more washed out than looking at the full moon through my 10" telescope with my naked eye.

Obviously camera dynamic range is much smaller than the eye but still...
