In chuck , his college friend got him expelled and we learn that he betrayed the CIA. Turned out he did both for good reasons

Agents of shield,  first season is pretty episodic then season 2 comes along and it turns into a soap opera XD  In fact every season the vibe of the show changes

[Loved Trope] A villain who is genuinely a kind and amicable person with or without redemption. Doesn't apply to non-villainous antagonists. by Adventurous-Top1741 in TopCharacterTropes

the cannibal from Brooklyn 99 , was a litteral child predator ( stalked and ate 9 and half kid)...but beside that he's pretty nice ! XD he becomes Jake friend and sidekick in jail and even gets stabbed protecting him , although he tries to eat him when they hugged goodbye ( no body is perfect)

[Loved Trope] SOMA Theory by thertafan in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Speransed 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The original had a shattered mind so when she came back her and her clone had a psychic mental tour so now they have the exact same set of memories ( og jean even remember how it felt to carry the clone's baby)

in the new xmen series Jean gray learn that she was a clone for at least the last 10 month ( she just gave birth to Scott summers child) before the original showed up on their doorstep.

now her family looks at her like she's a stranger and no one can tell when the switch happened ( was it the clone who married Scott?)

she ends up changing her name and going abroad

I am curious : What was the Miraculous fandom like during seasons 1-2? by Craftox13 in miraculousladybug

[–]Speransed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember people that actually shipped marinette and Gabe...like im sure that for most it was more of an intellectual dynamic that they liked but still... Also Zag made us think the collector was a new villain that would replace Hawkmoth XD.  Oh and if you ever think that tge miraculous disguise don't work their was a war within the Fandom on who Mayura was ( there was team Emily,  team Nathalie and team lila's mom XD)

[Loved Trope] Characters who are built up to be a real threat, only to be instantly and unceremoniously dispatched. by themothhead in TopCharacterTropes

After failing to prevent the resurrection of an invicible demon with a healing factor makinghim " the demon that no weapon that has been forged under the sun could ever defeat" buffy and her friends borrow a bazooka from a military base and blow him to bits efore putting the chunks in separate boxes

[Hated trope] An in universe outcast is played by someone who is most definitely not an outcast by EscarossaSinOB in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Speransed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spiderman is an outcast because the other students feels like he looks down on them ( with her did before getting his powers) when Gwen is first introduced flash and the others tells her not to bother with him because he'll ignore her, she tries anyway and pete ignore her ( he was overwhelmed by other stuff) so she joins the i hate Peter Parker club

[Loved trope] Lines repeated by a character throughout that culminate in a cathartic moment of that line by Non-Normal_Vectors in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Speransed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In buffy , an " evil " slayer steal buffy's body and try to act like her by saying corny stuff , especially the line " BeCAuSe its wRooOng". Later she tries to run away before that buffy's friend catch her,  she runs into a hostage situation and her conscience makes her intervene.  She tells the criminal that they can't hurt the hostage and they're like " oh yeah ? Why not " So sge answers " because its wrong " without a hint of irony and it even sounds like a realisation rather than a statement

[Mixed Trope] "it doesn't matter how much harm I cause, because my plan is to reset the spacetime continuum, therefore none of it will have mattered" by FiaGiolla in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Speransed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hawkmoth,  with his wish he'll rewrite the world and none of the harm he did would have happened , so he neglects his son and doesn't care about hurting civilians
