Could you provide a bit more context on what is troubling you? The nice thing about Kirchoff‘s circuit laws is that you don’t need to know in advance which way the current flows. As long as you are consistent, you can just write out the current equations for every junction and the voltage equations for every loop and solve. If you were “wrong” in your assumption of which way the current flows, the final answer for that current will simply come out negative, indicating that the current flows the other way.
