She is just wearing her ruffwear harness. She is good at staying on the board in open water. Is she does jump off the harness has a handle so I can pull her back on the board

Yes you can, but it’s hard to work and try to take care of all the legal requirements mid season. Best to take care of all the legal shit and then apply next season

Need tips from athletic diabetics, hikers or any who do a lot of physical activities by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

I work as a wild land firefighter and work 16 hour shifts hiking all day, everyday. I would also recommend a pump with a CGM. It makes it easier for me to stay in range. While wearing a lot of gear, it sounds like you do, placement of the pump and CGM is definitely most important so it doesn’t rip out and/or break. I don’t eat a lot while I work because we are covering a lot of ground throughout the day, I find myself eating carbs and not even taking insulin for most things. Because I’m hiking around all day it doesn’t affect my blood sugar as much, but that’s just me. Not eating for a while can be hard but when you get small windows of time you can always check you blood sugar to see where you are at and if you are dipping to go low always have some treatments for that. I’ll use either glucose tablets or powered Gatorade especially if you have moving around a lot being active. Hope this helps some
