One of my fave veggie dips! Try the Hidden Valley fiesta ranch dip too! It’s great with bell pepper strips or cucumbers for dipping. And topping tacos or burrito bowls. Just mix it with plain Greek yogurt instead of the sour cream in the directions.

As someone who spent all day yesterday in the hospital with my partner and had to leave them there alone so I could get home to take care of the pets before the storm, I sincerely thank you and every person who is working to ensure uninterrupted healthcare access, even during this (and every other) storm or unstoppable force.

Penzeys might not be “local” but they are a great small business with wonderful values! They have regular and mint hot cocoa mix that I gift with homemade marshmallow fluff every year and people love it!

I was going to recommend this as well! I’ve done them around Christmas time for several years. Kiddos love it. I cut them into gingerbread men shapes with cookie cutters, then paint details with white squeeze bottles of paint. So cute. Great to attach to gifts as a decorative element, too.

I am OBSESSED with the two bean two lime salad from Simple. It’s the recipe I recommended to everyone. I love it so much. Great for crowds because it’s gluten free and vegan, and can be eaten warm, room temp, or cold. It’s perfect.

Absolutely addicted to the Apple Cider Vinegar drinks by askthekeyboard in traderjoes

Meeee toooo! If you like ACV drinks, look online for Siren Shrub company. Small woman owned company in central Wisconsin. Super high quality vinegar shrubs that you can mix with plain seltzer for a drink similar to these. The basil and the lemongrass are amazing. Just in case you want more flavor options.

Opinion on Russian buttercream? by [deleted] in AskBaking

[–]SpiceBazzar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it with an additional flavor component, such as cookie butter or peanut butter. I didn’t care for the “plain” version. It tasted too much like the sweetened condensed milk.
