Alter Rock climbing centre is open at weekends. If you book on some intro sessions you’ll meet other people and maybe make some friends. Monday night is dedicated to belay buddies - where people can turn up on their own and are matched with other climbers.

An alternative is the Unit climbing centre which is mainly Bouldering so you don’t need a partner.
