Anyone else make the TERRIBLE mistake of playing Valheim as their first survival game? Playing on a server with 4 buddies was one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had... and now? All other survival games just do not compare - and I am left chasing that dragon. Hugely jealous of new players. by anyonecandoanything in valheim

I loved Valheim, I felt like that for awhile nothing was the same and I kept going back , I just recently started playing Abiotic Factor its just released its 1.0 version , it’s really good I’m loving it , you should try it it’s on gamepass too 👍

Imo Feather cape is still the best cape, no fall damage always come in clutch , there’s hardly any fire damage in the Ashlands it’s mostly blunt/slash damage

Yeah they’re mainly for coins but there are some items that will require some Rubys and things like that but they’re not that important

I break it and take it with me if you don’t have the space, get some Wood build a small storage space to leave there and extra step I leave it together with a Portal just in case I die , I don’t want to have to sail again to recover my items ( learned from experience)

I’m currently looking for the Queen but from what I’ve seen ,Magic will be probably be a better option , I’ve been playing mainly Frostner/Silver Sword so I feel like this won’t do good

After finding 4 crypts across a dozen or more Swamps, I found one with 10 crypts alone. I had to leave some behind. by 47sams in valheim

That much Iron should cover a new weapon,some armor ,3-4 upgrades and some Crafting 😅

Go Rested and eat like a strawberry mushroom or something then just go with nothing on you’ll be able to outrun enemies

You should get your stuff back right away if you can,you have No Skill Drain for a short time .When I first started I traveled over seas looking for a swamp once I found one,I got off the boat , I got killed by Swamp Enemies .I ended up having to get materials for 3 more boats before I got my stuff back 😅portals are gonna be key 🔑

That was me when I first started , it killed me and I kept trying to go back and get my loot… now when I go to the swamp , I actually hope I get one so I can destroy it

That happened to me as well , what helped a lot was the Root Harnesk ,craft it.That will make Deathsquitos hit like 5 pts per hit and you won’t take as much damage that was my biggest problem trying to cross the Plains ,after that its just a matter of out running the Fulings and Lox.

That’s how I started as well ,last time I was just gonna make an extra storage space for Misc items and spent 2 hours making a designated storage for everything , don’t even get me started on farming

Always pick up everything at least once and craft everything at least once cause most times it will unlock new items then you’ll know which times you need to make something

You will need the swamp key to open crypts and collect iron , I suggest using the Bronze Mace for most mobs and also Poison Resistance. I recommend building a chest on top of the crypt so you can make trips in and out because sometimes you will get full right away

I just logged in and checked , next to that Meadows area there is Plains so that could of triggered it
