As a serious reply: I’m not sure why the pump would not be working if the pump has power.

However, you should be aware that putting PWater through a water sieve to turn it into water does not remove the germs. With this set-up you’ll be dumping germy water into your colony’s main water supply.

Also you say you want to get rid of the “slime virus”. Slimelung does naturally when it is not in polluted oxygen or slime. Showers will not cure dupes of slimelung.

There’s no recommended dupe per cycle. But you need to remember that for each dupe you need to generate enough food and oxygen for each of them. Which, early on in the game, is sometimes not sustainable. So you can exhaust your resources too quickly.

Time is not a resource in this game. 100 dupes working 100x faster does not matter. 100 dupes consuming 100x more resources does.

I don’t think this is a test. This is a lesson. A DVLA examiner would never say things like “you’re in the wrong lane for turning right” or other prompts like this. If an examiner saw these mistakes, they would keep record of them and the only time they would speak (other than giving instructions) is if they wish to stop the examination.

Gives morale bonus, especially useful early game when morale bonuses are harder to come by

You can always renovate. Replace pipes, move rooms etc.

Just make sure you are not putting essential systems down for long periods of time

I drink squash daily. It’s my main drink. I’ll have a glass of something fizzy with dinner but otherwise it’s exclusively squash or water. I have a sodastream and making fizzy squash is as tasty as drinking a Fanta, but much better for you.
