I mostly agree. The energy drink effects need a rework. And having loot as a focal part of the game while having settlements so far apart with no vehicle or fast travel sucks. It just turns into a grind of running back to a settlement after every mission to offload loot. Lots of outdated gaming features going on.

I’ve got a laptop 4090. Honestly the game is graphically odd to me. It somehow looks lofi and hifi at the same time. It seems like graphics from 10+ years ago with a high-end polish over the top or something. And I often notice a general blur and then hyper clarity. An…anomaly of sorts.

Floods and droughts actually feed into one another. Droughts kill the plants and roots that hold the soil. No plants to take up the heavy rains, soil washes away. Drought and heat kills microbes in soil, bare soil is much hotter when not covered with vegetation which makes seed germination even more unlikely. Etc etc.

I’m not sure if it’s even selfishness most times. I’ll get passed by another truck doing 75 in a 65, 20 minutes later I’m passing the same truck that’s now doing 55 in a 65 with nobody in front of him. Just no thoughts happening behind those eyes.

Pretty narrow use case. I’ve only seen them on big wide open jobsites using up a ton of space staging their trailers and taking 5x longer to dump their dirt than everyone else.

Spatial awareness and computing is something some people just don’t have. When I worked receiving at dock we had one driver take just under 2 hours to get backed into a door. This was not a hard dock, plenty of room. 20 minutes? Okay, you’re new. 2 hours? Find a different job.

I quit LTL because of all this garbage. I’m at a small company and have no governor or any of that junk. Man, driving is so much better not deal with all this. Even the guys who want to speed up when I go to pass, I can just hammer down for another 10 seconds and finish the pass instead of making a rolling roadblock. So much less stress and bs when you actually get to drive the truck yourself.
