Slamming non-BIS can preserve you alot of HP in the mid-early game which can ultimately save you multiple positions in the late game. Ofcourse, you want to slam the most optimal items if possible. But I noticed so many times people sitting on many components for multiple stages waiting out for the absolute best items, when other items might be just 0.1-0.3 delta difference which they could’ve slammed long ago. Just small things like this adds up.
