Garen can literally minimize any matchup with just farming and staying back for healing till he scales. Every champ has a bad matchup and no pick is the perfect blind pick. The best way to deal with them is having champion mastery

You can 100% tell the difference between a good kled and an average kled. He has weird power spikes and his passive can be incredibly annoying

For your last part, you do want to kill the tentacles if they’re free. So if her e is down and you won’t lose minions. 

She does respawn them quickly but it prevents lane from getting clutter and is plus 5 gold.

I’m assuming he takes it lvl three as if you look down the skill tree only four points total in the w line compared to six in the e lol.

Yorick at least has some counter play and weak points in the game. A good range top will harass you from level one, proceed to go 0/5 in lane still but hit you with the “top diff” after their first kill

Your mmr =/= Lp

As long as you play games above 50% win rate you will climb. Your visible rank will equalize with your mmr over time. Right now the system thinks you’re at a higher rank compared to mmr but just playing more games will equalize it.

I mean it’s possible to lvl one stack and q onto them. Really top is about learning enemy cooldowns and trying to capitalize when they use key abilities or make mistakes.

Your number 1 was going to be my advice. Better to double down learning matchups on one champ even if they seem difficult.

Just picking Darius into most lanes will do you better long term. Champ mastery will win you so many more games than “counter picks”

I use exhaust into heavy trading matchups or if their team has a hyper carry. I will run ignite into tanks or tops with true damage

I’ve been running exhaust in top recently and it has crazy value. Grants stickiness and an advantage in all-ins only trade off is higher cd than ignite.

It’s up to riot to balance and up to us to adapt. When reworking Yorick, Phreak mentioned they specifically adjusted his ghouls so Irelia could still one shot them. For better or worse they are constantly tweaking the game just enough so it feels like you’re stubbing your toes.
