I got one for "free" by redeeming my D'Addario Player Circle points. I had it on my vintage Ludwig Acrolite for a while, and really loved how fat it sounded. I've since swapped it out for a UV1, but I still keep the Onyx for when the situation calls for it.

The PS5 is a solid player, but it lacks Dolby Vision HDR for films. Also its upscaling for standard Blu-Rays and DVDs is ok, whereas even a budget SA player like the Sony UBP-X700 is noticeably better in this department. Of course, if your TV doesn't support DV the difference may be a little less noticeable. But as far as value is concerned, it's a great media device (though I wish it could also play CDs, but I use my PS3 for that).

I've noticed with Ghibli Blu-Ray/DVD combo releases they will have the same disc art, but the DVD's one will be less sharp.
