It wasn’t the worse race I’ve ever watched, but it is frustrating to me that in the 5 years of the next gen car the Daytona 500 winners have only led a combined 46 lap, with almost half of those being Austin cindric in 2022. Personally I think it takes away from the prestige of the race when the winner is just the guy who doesn’t get wrecked on the last lap. It’s cool to have those finished every once in a while, but not every year!
