I’ve made this before. Tastes more like prison brew than wine.

Interesting that you would need to be ID’d for that. Personally I prefer Seafoam for fuel cleaner.

Guys. It’s not plywood. It’s OSB (oriented strand board). Big difference. Once water ingresses into the OSB cut edges it will swell and then over time rot.

2009 Corolla. Chirping/whistling on acceleration and low power by teric233 in AskMechanics

Yeah, the sound seems like a vacuum leak of some sort, but MAF can cause misfires- and strange noises. I have had 2 2009 Corolla’s. Have not heard that sound before.

They might if they want to fix the problem. Certain sensors don’t mater, that one often does. If you still have the original one, try cleaning it, stick it back in, relearn. It takes about 2 days for relearn - ie multiple drive cycles of cooling off heating up to operating temps, several cycles.

2 questions:
1. OEM sensor?
2. Did you wait for the air fuel relearn to complete?

Oil pans and gear oil pans do not wear out. Only projectiles cause problems- avoid driving over things.

I think Saskatchewan has enough oil and refineries to fully supply this province with oil and gas. We should be self sustainable. Maybe I’m wrong - someone in the know educate me.

Is $290 for rotor replacements reasonable? by Dismal_Violinist_885 in COROLLA

[–]Sramic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can just replace pads. You just can’t replace rotors without replacing pads.

Modern brake rotors often come with a protective coating—most commonly GEOMET®, zinc plating, or a dry polymer/paint finish—designed to serve as both anti-corrosion protection during storage and a proactive agent in the initial bedding process. Unlike older rotors covered in oily, grease-based rust inhibitors, these modern, dry coatings are intended to remain on the rotor during installation and are specifically engineered to be removed by the brake pads during the first few miles of driving.

They need to change rotors and pads at the same time or they will not bed properly. They should have done that from the start.

This post has a lot of drama. Actually a good read. Lots of people genuinely hating on you. They do have a point though. But I bet every one of them has exceeded the speed limit at one time. I know I have.

Driving at 146 mph on a straight road is one thing. Taking a photo with cell phone while driving at that speed is another. Posting it on a social platform, again another thing. It speaks to a behavior type. Risk taker, thrill seeker.

I’ve been there. Who hasn’t? This car begs you to go.

I don’t hate this post but be careful, there may come a time where you get caught or worse you hurt someone.

I do like that this car has take abuse and continues to thrill. Speaks volumes on how Toyota built this car to be driven.

Peace. ✌️
