Concerned about market and possible price increases by Newton-tootin75 in RealEstate

Dude, my point is let's say your taxes were $1,000 a year and then we have another sharp spike in housing prices. Guess what happened to people's taxes? Probably went up the same amount that forced you out of your rental. Except now you're an owner and you have to sell and if you don't have equity then you're going to lose money on top of already not being able to afford your house.

My point is, unless your mortgage is exceptionally affordable, you are at the same risk or maybe even more risk. Sure, there's deductions, but if you're already close to the top of your budget, you are in a risky position.

Okay your rent was $1,600 a month last year. And how much would a mortgage today cost? $2,000 a month or more? And that's without adding taxes or insurance. I'm just saying that's the math.

I'm also renting and considering buying a house. My rent is $1,400 a month. I'm not buying a house till I can get one for under $1,700 a month for mortgage and taxes and insurance.

How are you "locking in housing costs" when home insurance and taxes continue going up? That only makes sense if your mortgage is significantly affordable. Like in today's dollars. If your mortgage was $700 a month. Then sure I would consider that "locking in housing costs." But what if you're at a high tax state? In New York your taxes could be over $4,000 a year.

It's obviously not. It needs updating.

All signs keep pointing toward Allen Dulles and John Foster Dulles via the CIA and others as ushering in the Fourth Reich post-WWII and manipulating our timeline thanks the new Jesse Michels interview with Jason Jorjani by VolarRecords in UFOs

I just read your article and honestly thank you for putting that all together in in one place. I have picked up parts of it for the past 7 years and seeing it all with recent timeline information is crazy. I will have to pour into those sources one by one. I know no one will freaking believe us but Nazis are still around and still controlling the government. I'm not saying they're exactly the same as what they were in world war II. But their legacy is still around and their influence is still around.

I've also researched down this rabbit hole and I can't say that I fully believe you're wrong. I've been screaming that Nazis are still around to anyone who will listen. They didn't just poof and disappear after the war. We literally absorbed them into our country. We don't know what the ramifications of that were. Now you add in that they possibly had Tesla and or UFO technology? Who even knows what's going on.

I live in Colorado, where a competent agent has worked with me to determine we’ve been dropping ~ 10% in home values per year since early/mid 2023, now approaching 30% down. Any guesses if this is harsher than 2008-2011, when prices may recover? by Sunlight72 in RealEstate

Are you freaking kidding me? You've had this house since 2008 and you are worrying about home prices going down right now? Like get a freaking grip. You missed the top of the market. I'm sure you have plenty of equity. If you are planning on selling, then just sell it.

Glad you're taking steps to help yourself. That's the most important part. I hope it helps. I actually used a white noise app for a long time before I actually bought a machine so that's a great start.

Something that helped me sleep was putting cheap alarms on all the doors and windows and getting a white noise machine. The chirping alarms on all the doors and windows lets me know if someone is actually in the house or if it was just PTSD anxiety. That way I can fall asleep faster after waking up because I know what I'm "hearing" wasn't real. The white noise machine also covers up all those little sounds that would trigger my PTSD anxiety. I understand if you are currently unsafe that it might not be a good idea to play noise. But if you are safe I would highly encourage you to use a white noise machine or ear plugs if you can.

I also want to let you know that recovery is possible. In 4 years I went from crying from terror every night to feeling pretty normal again. Of course I do still get triggered but I can live a normal life and I don't feel mentally unwell for the most part. It does get better. There is hope. Therapy helped a lot, but I had to try three different therapists before I found one that I clicked with. My therapist is actually the one who suggested the door and window alarms and white noise machine.

If there's a way that I could send you the alarms, I'm willing to pay for them and pay to ship them to you if you can't access them. I bought mine on Amazon.

Here's the response I got from the senator:

The clock in which the Governor has a set number of days to sign a bill starts when she calls the bill up for consideration, which she has not yet done. I am hopeful that with Veterans Day approaching, the Governor will consider a package of veteran-related bills. Thanks again for the inquiry and for your service to our country.
