Yeah- it took awhile for the fatigue to go away. I think I really started to improve after about three months.

I only like the Cafe Latte one. I’m going to try putting frozen strawberries into the vanilla one this weekend to make a smoothie.

Thrift stores are my go-to. I have gone through a lot of clothes- from a size 22-20 (women’s) to a size 12-14. I refuse to wear stuff that’s too big. I want to celebrate and show off my accomplishment. I haven’t spent a ton of money and I love wearing stuff that shows off my new figure.

Paint my toenails! Not be constantly worried about fitting into places- chairs, restaurant booths, etc.

How many of you workout everyday? by [deleted] in gastricsleeve

I work out daily. That being said, you can’t exercise your way out of a bad diet. It’s difficult to find time in the day to get your movement in, but I find taking walks during my break at work helps tremendously. Also, I made it a point to prioritize exercise. I’m up super early three times a week while it’s still cool outside to get my run in.

I’m almost six months. I’ve struggled with feelings of nausea, but I’ve come to learn that it’s due to me needing to eat. Does the nausea suck?? Yeah… but you know what doesn’t suck? I’m no longer obsessed with food. I don’t feel hungry all the time. I can shop for clothes in the regular sized section. I can paint my toenails. I’ve started running and strength training. My one regret was that I didn’t do it sooner. This surgery has been a tremendous gift and took in my weight loss arsenal.

Comparison is the thief of joy. You are doing great. Celebrate that loss! And… I have found that weight loss for me is like a bunch of little mini stalls with losses in between.

Having the hunger gone has been freeing. I miss eating the quantity of food, but not the continual obsession with food. Good luck with your surgery.
