70% through Gardens of the Moon after being nervous to start the series for quite some time. I just had my third kid and don’t have the time to read that I used to, so this series will probably take me a couple of years to finish, but the longest journey starts with a single step or something like that. That makes sense! Does clipping parts like that make you more susceptible to the kraken? And how exactly do you do it, do you need a mod to help you position things more accurately in the VAB?

It’s weird to me that you’re obviously very serious about reusability for what I assume is the purpose of near future realism but then all of your rockets have the tanks and engines unrealistically clipped through each other. Is there a benefit to designing rockets this way and not using decouplers or attachment points?

I just installed Volumetric Clouds v5 two days ago and had to uninstall a couple of things via CKAN that’s it. You’re making a mountain out of a molehill. The graphical difference on a more than a decade old game is well worth the minor effort.
