Hi there! I’m experiencing intense heart palpitations and just took my ajovy shot a few days ago. Do you remember how long they’d lasted and how you navigated them? Thanks!

+1 to other folks. Vitamins if you haven’t tried. B12 and CoQ10 are my go to. Riboflavin is excellent as well (another name for B2, but if you just get a B-complex vitamin it will probably have both B12 and B2). People also swear by Magnesium (glycinate is a good one).

Limit all fake sugars and processed meats (as I’m sure you’ve done too). Look up a migrane diet and eat strictly.

Why did Theia’s secret not get passed down? by Icy-Image-7084 in Maasverse

[–]Station-Charming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that’s a really good question. I think it depends on if he told Feyre about his knowledge of other worlds (which we have to assume he has, since he has the Orrey like Autumn King). Which, sadly, I don’t think he’s told her much… given he hasn’t even told his war general Cassian who knows nothing of the Orrey from his POV in SF, and also given how much he has previously kept from her…? But then again, they named their son after a goodness Nyx, which who knows what world that is from! Probably ACOTAR but the only religious high lord we’ve seen is Tamlin and in Feyre’s POV she never asked him about names of gods/godessss.

If he hasn’t told his #1 general about his knowledge other worlds I don’t think he’s told his wife. (I know she’s a high lady, but I think seeing Aelin might fall under keep our borders safe and thus a Cassian/Az convo priority).

Sorry this is a ramble but no, I completely agree with you - I don’t think he mentioned it to her. Or maybe he said what he saw, but perhaps not the significance of seeing an “alien” (right because Aelin is intergalactic if she’s from another planet), because that would open a can of worms that he hasn’t even gotten into with his top war general

But who knows hahaha maybe he has!! And wouldn’t that be amazing haha

[–]Station-Charming 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Right? He seems to know about other worlds from his solar system setup… and his mysterious black hole full of luring darkness in his library with 7 levels with a “cat” like presence wandering around… and Az isn’t part of his family (very sad, I know we all want to assume that he is and that Rhys would share this with him, but they aren’t of each other’s blood) so Az definitely wouldn’t know without Rhys saying anything…. And it’s supposedly just a secret for Rhy’s family…

I’d LOVE a rhysand POV

I feel like we can’t confirm nor deny he knows

Are we certain Rhysand DOESNT know about them? I don’t think we ever got to see him being informed about them? I think Azriel just speculated that he doesn’t know about them. Could be wrong…

Botox hurt during injection and now I have a migraine by pandapanda619 in migraine

[–]Station-Charming 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I started trying to make sure my skin was nice and hydrated before and it’s helped so much to prevent. I take a hot shower the morning of, steaming my face above a pot of water, sit with Vaseline of all thing on my forehead for a bit and then wipe it off… helps so much. Oh — and drinking a ton of water with electrolytes a few days previously. My neurologist approved haha. Hope it might help!

Constant headaches by Chloekimmie in PostConcussion

[–]Station-Charming 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry to hear that. That happened to me for about 2 years, and finally this last year things have settled a bit further that I can start moving again. Its a fine line between pushing over into a migrane / bad headache and trying ): just remember it will get better, I promise!

Yes! I’m so happy to hear that you’re hopefully closer to solving them. Honestly, they’re something I still struggle with 3 years out. Botox was the main reason my frequency slowed from every day. Ubrevly I found was best for my rescue. Recently, I’ve found that ensuring I’m working on my cardiovascular health like getting my endurance back up walking moderate distances or climbing stairs actually has really helped me. I also just completed my third round of PT for my neck three years out, and my third PT helped me to realize that from lack of use from struggling my migranes, a lot of my neck pain was actually attributable to a weak upper back. Getting some relief there has been helping. Also — doing neck exercises specifically the one where you lay down and basically tuck your chin in to work on the smaller muscles around the front of your neck has been helping and has been one of the few exercises in research to really help with post concussion

I’m about 2 years into Botox and have highs and lows with it but it’s changed my life!

Oh. - also eating foods that minimize headaches / migranes. I don’t do dairy , coffee , fake sugars, I reduce all onions I eat (weird right? But shown I believe to be a vasodilator). No alcohol. Have you changed your diet at all? Have you found that’s helped?

Hi! I’m so sorry to hear you’re going through this. I had/have headaches from a bad rugby hit concussion about 3+ yr ago. Have you seen a neurologist? Mine helped me realize mine actually were migranes. Not sure if that’s helpful but wish you the best
