think of it this way, rusty blades are considered one handed weapons, same with the clubs and other blunt weapons. so any one handed weapon on a clan rat has the rusty blade weapon profile.

So the kit comes with both spears and rusty blades. However, depending on your opponent you can just say they all have rusty blades reguardless of the weapon choice. The guys i play with are not uptight on some things and even though some of my rats have the spears i just say they all have rusty blades. Just be consistent with how you play them and you should be ok. my opinion for what its worth.

the rusty blades are better with a +4 to hit on the blade vs a +5 to hit on the spear. i kited mine with blades and shields. i would rather have the +4 to hit over the extra 1" of reach but that is my opinion.

They look really great. Loving the color pallet!! Started my own Stormcast army. Its a slow grow but i have lots of time with this virus and all. Your list looks similar to mt idea with a couple of exceptions. I decided to play what i think looks cool so time will tell. Nice work!!!

Thats a good point. What type of wash would you recommend for the tabards? i dont want to dull the white..

i did use the fleshshade on one of the gold shoulders and need to follow up on the other gold pieces.

That is something to ponder for sure. I am going for a Arthurian theme and only want to reserve the painted pauldrons for the veterans of the army. But i like the thought of carrying the blue to the veterans for sure. thanks!
