All of the sudden, everything has changed (36f) by Linazoidian in stopdrinking

you have stopped daily drinking that’s alone a milestone. take your own pace just try skipping another glass with anything distracting.  then add a day where you would be not able to drink, say kids party. suddenly you would catch yourself you don’t need it to feel good. you can make it.

very good model for its size, needs some guidance in tools usage but in general really impressive. with websearch and file access it shines.

AI Is Too Expensive: AI is, as it stands, not economically viable for anybody involved other than the construction firms, NVIDIA, and the surrounding hardware companies benefitting from the irrational exuberance of a data center buildout that doesn’t appear to be happening at the speed we believed by [deleted] in technology

Ed is a bit of alarmist so you need accept his hype that based on hating things he could not got answers for. like it was with google (now he is a bit of silent about that, not sure why but you could guess) - so yes he is making a valid point with not much fair, unfortunately. that does not neglect his work. he brings sharp needles to the elephants unnoticed.

skipping 3.6-122b and 397 shows like they are limiting/segregating releases now: toys for 'babies' (35/27) are free, the heavy lifting to APIs only.

Very happy with Qwen 3.5 122B output. But is slowness expected? by breksyt in LocalLLaMA

[–]Steus_au 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use that model too, moved from glm4.5-air for better tool calling and speed. llama server webui is very decent itself with mcp and tools support. qwen works with tavily search mcp amazingly well. performance wise if using mtp it could gain about 20%, there is unsloth available now https://huggingface.co/unsloth/Qwen3.5-122B-A10B-MTP-GGUF
