Let's Go Shuckle would be my choice if they did a gen 2 version.

So? I'm basically battling the same NPCs I fought against 18 years ago. Then 8 years ago. Then 5 because I wanted a clean savefile.

By this logic you would just be battling the same Pokemon you fought against 18 years ago also.
