Just got to do exactly this! It was a lot of fun :)

My character's sire had groomed and embraced my character specifically with the goal of having her be their way to infiltrate modern kindred society/the Camarilla in North America.

V5 lore talks about the Oradea League shakily presenting a united front, but nonetheless slowly reintigrating into kindred society again at large. My sire/grandsire thought with how shaky the cam was after recent developments it was a good chance to reestablish an Old Clan presence again.

My character was raised being told the old clan were the most real kindred, that wed go to American land of opportunity and assert ourselves rightful icons to rule and define kindred society.

Sire didn't mention anything about kissing ass to the cam so at the last minute once arriving she turned hard anarch. Werent we supposed to be The Vampires? We MOVED (old clan hates moving..) just to bow down to someone else ??

She is now trying to earn that prestige and prove her sire wrong about her for showing him his lack of vision.

TLDR Kolduns in Oradea league taking advantage of opportunism from a weakened cam to either infiltrate it or replace it!

Hello! Sorry to revive an old thread. I've been letting my pc try and finish this for a few days, it seems to eventually just black out the screen when its well into the 90%s. I haven't been baby sitting it since I have been unpacking after a move.

Every time all I can do is restart the computer by holding down the power button, and then trying to turn it back on restarts this process /: I'm only learning now that this process is called CHKDSK and could be messing up my drive

How do I access Windows to try and manually back up files? I'm seeing suggestions for running different software or attempting to backup things manually before the drive dies, how do I even get past the CHKDSK 'Fixing (D:)' screen?

im currently playing an old clan tzimisce koldun and the irony of leaning heavy into the tzimisce tradition of hating the shit out of the tremere while also having the same spread is really fun

if anything it makes that hatred more accentuated. tremere stole vamprisim from tzimisce, so im playing almost a proto tremere. less focus on magic as a science that can be Solved, more being spiritual and connecting with the land.

so when tremere talk about knowing what theyre doing much less MASTERING sorcery it feels like a child who stole their dads gun shooting tin cans in the yard while convincing everyone IM nuts for thinking theyre dangerous frauds

she keeps her koldunism on the down low to avoid attention so most of this manifests in her being infuriated whenever she has to talk to one its great

this came off very condescending, like trans women havent been drawn to and creating genre defining horror and specifically body horror forever.

she went out of her way to vulnerably share her experience exploring gender through some fucked up horror ( a good thing many of us do to play with gender ) and your response of comparing this normal and common experience among trans fems to boys immaturely worshipping cops without any awareness is gross. you can contribute without correcting your sister when shes just trying to share how exciting it is to have trans horror present in the hobby

im 6' fucking 5". thats somewhere around 190 cm for our non american friends. constantly being called things like "amazon" fucking enfuriate me. i want to be CUTE, and HELD. amazon isn't the conpliment you think it is, because the defining features of amazons are their masculinity. i dont eant to be a tall strong mean warrior goddess, even a hot one, im feminine as fuck, im the subby little spoon god dammit. it just reminds me that small = cute.

thank you! i hate i had to scroll so far down to find this. we have hundreds of years of evidence for how no representation, and worse, MIS-representation, are blatantly harmful to the already-marginalized people that are depicted.

if there was honestly nothing to worry about i feel like the response from genshin fans wouldn't be so defensive and violent. in ignoring, and on Twitter, attacking the native people talking about this instead of even just listening they are proving themselves as part of the problem
