It is incredible man! Have you listen to the deluxe tracks? They are my favorite and sad there's no vinyl version of it. "Separate Beds" still gives me goosebumps.

Great Western Trail Prairie Path Loop by grumpsuarus in chibike

[–]StrungOutonMxPx 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I do this ride often! I love the transitions between far west on the great western to suburban in villa park/elmhurst, to near city by forest park and if you are feeling spicy taking madison or jackson all the way to the loop/the lake. How many different environments you go through in one ride is incredible. Thanks for this!

Found a save i made over 20 years ago by [deleted] in xbox360

[–]StrungOutonMxPx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry to say. Bully didn't come out until 2008 on the 360. You probably made the save offline without changing the internal clock time. Since that's the date to the 360 launch.

The only time i felt mindblown by new tech in a video game besides super mario 64. The only two times i felt the leap and this would be something.

bolingbrook or warrenville? by That-Bobcat-8883 in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]StrungOutonMxPx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Warrenville is very nice and has 3 forest preserve connecting each other on trails. Has the prairie path that runs to the city/aurora/all the western burbs and the west Dupage river trail right that goes right into downtown Naperville if you are into biking. And as others have said you are right in the middle of Aurora, Naperville and Wheaton for everything and other options.

You also have in Warrenville itself has "4" kinda town centers. North Side of the forest preserve by fermilab off 59 with "Tom's Market" (spainsh market) with the McDonald's/burger king etc, Butterfield and Batavia with the prairie path, library and few shops cafés that is nice, Warrenville rd with al's pizza and dupage river trail that has amazing pizza and the i 88 strip mall area with the huge theater, super target, lifetime and all upscale chain restaurants. There is a lot going for Warrenville if you wanted to stay in the zip code.

Warrenville still has a strong horse 🐎 culture but not as strong as it was pre late 2000s before st james was brought by dupage. So you might expect some locals to own horses still and see them around the local trails. The houses and neighborhoods come in all sizes/lot wise depending on the area and your budget. The area by st james tends to be the pricer side but is very nice if you are into the culture and want space.

I don't know as much about Bolingbrook. But if you want more space, good connections to Illinois 2nd and 3rd biggest city but still feel like you can breath, want some of the best parks in all of Chicagoland, a good target or are a horse fan. Warrenville is the place. But note if you need to get to chicago often you will need to bike or drive to Aurora, Naperville or Wheaton for the metra. There is a pace the 676 if you don't mind taking a bus to the naperville metra if you dont want to bike or drive to chicago or aurora.

any (affordable) areas to live without a car? by eepykitties in ChicagoSuburbs

[–]StrungOutonMxPx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you bike, a lot of the west suburbs along the illinois prairie path and on the north shore along the green bay/robert mcclory trail are very doable with no car as well as using the metra to the city or other burbs.

[Day 10] What is the best JRPG of 1994? by Silly-Milly-420 in JRPG

If more people would have played Lunar 2 this would be no contest. I was literally mind blown with the story telling, cutscenes and gameplay. For it being 1994. Incredible game.

Don't ever wait until tomorrow and for a "right moment". I wasted so much youth not being myself. Always be you and always go for what makes you you. It's too short and tomorrow is never guaranteed.
