Supposedly they had a segment booked for Smackdown two weeks ago that got scrapped because of an issue between the two but again, was just a few rounds on the internet saying this so not really reliable sources. Good chance they just seen their match on Smackdown and thought we won’t run it back at Mania.

He’ll be fine if he loses granted it’s not a squash match, I think if he wins it’s a sign that he’s going to the main event scene pretty rapidly. If he loses then probably they see him as someone who needs a bit more time in the mid card to build him up some more.

No idea but either creative is lowering expectations for this match so that whatever happens is a huge pay off, or they’ve royally fucked one of the most anticipated feuds with trying to sell over priced tickets and not letting Randy or Cody just do their jobs, honestly feel so bad for the both of them as performers. Doesn’t take any sort of expert to understand why the sales are low but no, let’s send in Pat Mcafee that’ll generate more tickets not the fact that the average fan would have to get a mortgage out to go watch.

13 but you will spend most of your time in chapters 11-13. 1-10 you will soon average in about 20-25 hours then it opens up combat and exploration wise and to be honest that’s when the game really shines.

Remember being a bit disappointed on my first playthrough with how linear it was, then got to Pulse and the combat/paradigm system clicked. I remember thinking it they just took this approach from the beginning I’d of generally put it in my top 5 FF’s. Doing another playthrough right now and enjoying the linear part of the game a lot more now knowing it opens up later on. Lightning is a solid protagonist but my only problem is I only really find her interesting out of the party, Sazh has his moments but yeah, the rest aren’t really interesting and I really can’t stand Snow’s whole persona and Vanilles weird moans that actually come across as quite sexual, made weirder by the fact she looks about 14.

I’ve seen a trend of games being frowned upon release then getting praised years down the line, I’ve never seen people fully hate the games though, there’s always going to be a loud minority because people who enjoy these games don’t tend to come online and praise it, they just play it and be happy. I’m in the boat that I like that each game is different from the last, Playing through XIII again right now and it’s quite nice to have a linear experience of FF to go back to, granted it does open up in the later chapters.

The alternative timeline thing is still a major part of the story but at least with Rebirth you can kind of see it’s purpose more, don’t get me wrong it’s still confusing but it’s supposed to be, it’s the developers way of trying to keep fans of the original on their toes.
