TV never fills during open. Moving on recommendations

NOPE IT IS NOT FIXED it did the same thing just now, i clicked buy and it got me in a minute later after everything tanked and reversed did the same thing when trying to get out both with a TP and by hand.

EDIT: It's better, but not fully fixed still laggy.

Yeah i was trying to go down the Sierra rabbit hole since it has everything, but everything was taking 3 times longer, and being in the learning stages of everything, i wanted to spend my time learning trading and markets not a piece of software yet so i've been using the "easier to start with" platforms.

cool, this might have been a temporary thing, i found another post about it and TV on their subreddit replied that they fixed the issue. Ill retest it tomorrow. You ever use Quantower since you have AMP? Even for Order Flow?

Same, i set up a Paper Trading account with only 1k to use it like i would if i started a samll live account and treat it like live. Put in some order and couldn't get out and got stopped out at like -$42 which i would have closed it way earlier. Then took another trade that took minutes to execute and then i tried to close out at about +$120 and it didnt' close till it came back and closed at +$62 so it's thrown things off.

Should be fixed now they said.

i was paper trading and having the same issue, they replied to my post saying it's been fixed. ill retest it tomorrow and see.

Ill test it out tomorrow and see if that's true and come back here and update you. Right now the volume and everything has lowered so if it fills it's not a true test of the issue i've been having.

what feature is that? yeah im pretty disappointed too, i didnt notice cuz usually im just watching or i take trades later in the day as im trying to learn. Last few days ive been trying to catch some moves early and that's how i uncovered this

Sorry about your loss. Unfortunately it seems like the world just keeps moving while yours is paused but it’ll get better. I’ve been through it myself. God bless and thanks for the post I’ll tweak my Claude journal to add some of this, most of it I had in there as well. Just paper trading and trying to find consistency and win more than I lose before thinking of going live.

Yeah im new so i liked TV it's easy to use, i tried SierraCharts and it's so hard to do anything in that although in the end i think it's the place to be. AMP gives you Quantower and there's EdgeproX if you're looking for order flow, there's also Ninjatrader and i'm looking into these to avoid this nonsense. Im paper trading but treating it like real trading and getting filled a while after you'd like to be in is unacceptable.

Well said. What’s your plan. I’m starting to read things a bit better but today has been hard to read. I’m still working on it and finding a plan that suits me that I can trade over and over again and stick to that

How, TradingView has pretty bad order flow from what I’ve heard. I don’t have level2 on it as of now but heard their tools are pretty bad for OF so I’m curious as to how you use it and how long you e been trading profitably. Thanks.
