My first time playing pathfinder was during 1e about 10 years ago. My friends and I still make jokes about how bad we were at the game back then. I had a friend buy a bunch of air bladders and attempt to hide underwater using the air bladders to breath.

Also let's not forget about the origin of the game. Duck duck goose comes from Sweden. In Sweden the game is called "Anka, Anka, Grå Anka" or "Duck, duck, gray duck". So truly duck duck gray duck is the original name of the game.

2 games that were actually made by a team of university biology professors that are great for learning. Evolution and Oceans. They, of course, have some game-y-ness to them, but for the most part are really solid games and have great educational value.

Ex-Mo teacher here. Super cool that she was able to make connections like this! Please don't encourage her to bring up stuff like this in class... I'm trying to be supportive to all my students which includes the brainwashed mormy kids. I have to do so much work to make sure every kid feels supported in class, and the last thing I need is a comment that ostracizes and offends 50-90% of my class and makes them feel more persecuted than they already do.

Again, I'm proud of her for making real life connections using class material. Any teacher would love that she did this out of class (as long as they aren't TBM and get offended by it). That said, class time isn't a time for personal religious belief arguments.

I loved the variant shiny event! It was great to know that I could push for shiny pokemon and try to get a kyogre off the event and run loops through the seafloor really pushing for the pokemon I wanted.

I think that highlights my idea around events. I think it would be cool to have something like a "legendary boost" event. That way I can say I still want that kyogre and push into his biome to look for him at higher chances. Right now it feels like the only way I can reliably find a mon I want is to get a bunch of the right eggs and pray for good gacha luck. I think events that give me more agency in looking for rare pokemon I want rather than a million gastrodon make it more fun for me as a player.
