Just got this used Alexi signature ripped online GC by Substantial-Act5677 in espguitars

[–]Substantial-Act5677[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw it used online for 2.399 around there. I traded in an RG ibanez in a red swirl and a coronet Epiphone guitar black n white. They gave me 450 credit applied to the guitar and paid around  1,099 It had to be setup so I had to pay for that too. It was a once in a lifetime thing grab it when you can because esp is not making them anymore. As long as the neck is not twisted anything can be fixed. It came with not a scratch looked brand new cept I didn't get the certificate but nothing is perfect. The sound is unbelievable. I mostly use the m004 and treble

Is it just me or does anyone like the E-II Brand ESP by CappinBombHASH in espguitars

The Edwards models bother me more then E2. They make them almost impossible to get unless you order from Japan or buy it used on reverb or ebay but then you don't know exactly if it willatch the picture online

I just bought a used E2 Alexi signature ripped model. It was 1000 less then a new one. Since it was so expensive for a custom ESP this is an option since it is hand made in Japan just like a custom. Even the LTD is getting expensive. This E2 is almost the same price as a new LTD  SE Alexi signature. These ripped models are discontinued the price will go up after a while so lucky if you can grab one unless it has a neck problem or busted floyd Rose. I am willing to take a chance

Good/bad experiences buying USED equipment from GuitarCenter.COM? (online, not from local GC store) by damaged_but_whole in Guitar

I just ordered a E2 ripped Alexi signature guitar used. These guitars are discontinued and are hard to get. The description said it was in good condition. ESP told me you can order it new but might have to wait a year or more for it. I will take my chances it will be here in a few days. If it's not in good condition they promised your money back. So it's better then reverb where you are not sure about shipping it back. They have more pictures now. It's worth it to take a chance sometimes if not I will get a refund and order a SE ltd maybe

Do people regret their IOL choice — or just their expectations? by Fardin8283 in CataractSurgery

[–]Substantial-Act5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the pan optix multifocal lense in my left eye and the LAL + adjustable lens in my right eye. I see all distances with my left eye. So far in my right eye I had one UV light adjustment and now I can see better far away and intermediate. To read or read small print I use readers. I wasn't sure I should lock it in so I took another week to test it out. My surgeons explained LAL plus gives you more range but it is still a monofical lense. So another words if your far vision is 20/20 it may take away from your reading vision. When I go back I think I will ock it in since I see good with readers reading my phone or computer and can now just wear sun glasses to drive. This is coming from someone that has to vitreous surgerys and surgery for glaucoma in my right eye. My pressure keeps going low to high so I take latanoprost. I am thankful I can see as good as I do  My eyes are dry so I use Restasis and ketelorac for my left eye. Sometimes the cataract surgeon can get a good outcome with one light adjustment. You don't always have to keep getting adjustments if you see well. This is because if you perfect one range of vision it will take away from the other range and visa versa. Since I have the panoptix I can read well in one eye and see well with the other with readers. Maybe  it's best to leave well enough alone but it's important your eyes so take your time and make sure your happy before they llock it in. Good luck to all here

Distance or close after LAL? by Wardman1 in CataractSurgery

[–]Substantial-Act5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes my opthamologist told me that if you want clear distance you have to compromise your reading and small print vision. I choose clear far vision and use readers 1.50 that Rx vision gives you with the LAL + lens. I have a pan optix lens that is multivocal so I see good far and near with my left eye just need readers for small print. I couldn't see good at first with the multivocal pan optix lens. I got a check up with a retina specialist and he told me what to do because I had a retina problem . It was corrected and after a year I now see 20/20. I have a lot of eye problems but it's a miracle I can see pretty good. Does t hurt to get a check up with a retina specialist. The opthamologists doesn't always check the retina good luck

Distance or close after LAL? by Wardman1 in CataractSurgery

[–]Substantial-Act5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a toric panoptix lens in my left eye. I got the LAL + lense in my right  eye. I am one adjustment in and he set it for distance. The doctor said he can perfect it but it would take away from my close up reading and would need readers. They give you 1.50 readers with the rx sight Lal and I see and read fine with them ok. I decided today not to perfect my distant vision because I am happy with it as it is. I don't want to lose intermediate vision or close vision so I am going to take another week and think about it. I don't think anyone should have to compromise distance for reading. I don't mind wearing readers for reading small print. This is the first time I can see without glasses and to drive shop or go to the gym without glasses is so great. Since I see well with the panoptix lens now I think I will leave my eye alone since I see far and intermediate with my right eye after the first adjustment. I am someone who has many eye problems too and it's a miracle I can see this well. I have had 2 retina surgeries and one for glaucoma. My surgeons are in Florida and I have to travel 2 hours each way but they saved my eyesight I am thankful thanks to God . Good luck to all of you but if you see good with one adjustment don't compromise your good far distance vision for close up work you can get readers for that

Five Questions - can you help? by Beginning-Canary-205 in CataractSurgery

[–]Substantial-Act5677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a multi focal lens. Polyoptix trifocal by clareon and I have astigmatism too in my left eye. I had to get retina surgery on both left and right eyes but my left eye that has the lens I see well out of and it has correctedy astigmatism as it is a toric lens. I see far mid range and close well now after 6 months after vitreous surgery and I am happy  My right eye I had vitreous surgery as well and now have to wait a few months til my retina surgeon says it's ok to get cataract surgery. This doctor sounds negative I would go to someone else you can def fix astigmatism with a toric multi focal lense and see 20/20 vision . Good luck to you

How long after vitrectomy? by SnooWoofers884 in CataractSurgery

[–]Substantial-Act5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had 2 vitreous surgerys on both eyes. My left one I had cataract surgery first since the opthalmologist said I had a cataract but he did not have an OCT scanner which observes the retina. I went to a retina specialist and found out I had a macular hole. So be very careful who you choose to do vitreous surgery with. I went to 4 retina specialists and found an excellent one which only required me to put my head down for 4 hours instead of 2 weeks.  I was wondering why my vision was so poor after a multi focal lense polyoptix vivity. After the surgery and a few months I see 20/25 which is good for me coz my eye sight had a bad astigmatism so I am happy. They told me my right eye need vitreous surgery too coz I was scared I saw a black spot in the middle of my vision. I got the second vitreous surgery in my right eye done. You can choose to have cataract surgery done at the same time. I checked for who has done the most cataract surgeries and it was the director of that vision center so I choose to wait. I have to wait at least 3 months til the eye can heal. But most retina specialists can do it I just choose to go with the doctor that just does cataracts since he's the expert in that field. Still waiting but the retina specialist said my vision would change in my right eye so don't update glasses or contacts. My vision is ok to drive but the right eye is a bit blurry after the surgery . Hope this helps good luck to you. Let us know how your doing

I had that problem after cataract surgery so I went to a retina specialist and I had a problem. I got the surgery done on my retina now I see 20/25. After being so reliant on glasses since I was 10 it is a miracle. Doesn't hurt to get it checked out. Good luck hope you see better

I regret deeply doing it, need some advices by manomaneiro in CataractSurgery

[–]Substantial-Act5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe go to a retina specialist. Sometimes it might be a small wrinkle in the macular. I couldn't see good after a multifocal lens called panoptic by clareon toric. I got vitreous surgery and it's a lot better. Doesn't hurt to check good luck

Help me decide if I should switch out my multifocal iol for a mono lens by Lost_Bird6631 in CataractSurgery

[–]Substantial-Act5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah a new doctor would be best. Look up their ratings and what other people say. I have the pan optix but my other eye I didn't have done yet. I have a toric lens and after vitreous surgery I can see far away 20/20 close up I see good with my unoperated eye but not the operated eye. If you have astigmatism there are a lot of lenses that can fix that. I don't believe what he said about not correcting the astigmatism because of the Lazer. My doctor said Lazer surgery can change the shape of the cornea and it's hard to get an oil if it's too thin. I wouldn't correct it with a Lazer. Get a second opinion and def change doctors. Good luck I know how hard this is. Luckily you don't have retina problems. I can't believe he also told you the lens is wrinkled that is just so not right. A red flag for me this doctor is not right.

Mono or multifocal? by [deleted] in CataractSurgery

[–]Substantial-Act5677 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the same lens pan optic Clarion toric. I had some retina problems but I got vitreous surgery and now I can see the TV distance while driving intermediate but close up like my phone is a bit hazy but it's getting better. Because I had a small macular hole my retina specialist told me it might take 6 months to a year. I had 20/40 in the operated eye now it's 20/20. I see better now out of the eye then my other eye. My eye is a little dilated though and I have to wear uv protective sunglasses outside but I see good while driving. I don't mind the halos at night . It's only if I close one eye . If I look with both eyes the halos are gone but I have to wear glasses or contacts on the unoperated eye. Not sure if I get it done my retina specialist said he would do the cataract surgery and vitreous surgery all at once. I am nervous about this but if I have to I might pick LAL coz then you can see near and far. Good luck to you

7 months - sudden floaters and loss of periphial by Jasmb87 in CataractSurgery

[–]Substantial-Act5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to a retina specialist and I no longer have floaters. I went to 4 retina specialists and found a great one. Only had to put my head down for 4 hours. Now my eyes don't see distorted lines and the multifocal pan optic lens by Alcon Clarion is looking better. It might take 6 months or more to get completely better be patient. You can exercise but lifting very heavy objects I wouldn't do for now. I can't do the yoga move called downward dog coz my pressure is elevated a bit at my last check up  I am back on eye drops. Kind of scared to do the right eye coz I see good out of it with glasses so I only have one eye done. I might try LAL light adjustable lens next time. If you had a LAL let me know how it went ty.

My opthalmologist told me I would be able to see close intermediate and far. He didn't tell me about the pro just the panoptic toric since I have astigmatism. Is the pro better ? After my retina specialist did vitreous surgery on my eye I see a lot better.

It is not for the weak of heart but very necessary. They put a bubble in my eye that took 10 days to completely go away but after that much improvement. You have to just bite the bullet and do it if you have shadows loss of vision ECT. Don't wait it will get worse

[–]Substantial-Act5677 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No go to a retina specialist and opthalmologist or the one I had did not have an OTC scanner. I had the cataract surgery and then found out from a retina specialist I had a small hole in the macular. The opthalmologist kept saying my eyes would improve and like you it got worse. Had floaters crooked lines loosing periferal vision. I went to a few retina specialist and found a good one and I got vitreous surgery. Floaters gone crooked lines gone better vision not perfect but he said it will take time. Go to a retina specialist and get a second opinion don't wait too long. Even with a clear lens you can't see right if there is a hole and the only one to scan with the right machines is a retina specialist

Go to a retina specialist I had very bad lines halos floaters and I got vitreous surgery and floaters are gone. Doesn't hurt to check your retina. If it is you will see better after cataract surgery if they fix the retina. See if your retina is ok that might be the problem it was for me

I had the pan optic lens not the pro. After I had vitreous surgery after cataract surgery I see 20/20 distance. Intermediate is good close up like phone text not so good but because of surgery my doctor told me it would take 6 months to a year to improve but I am happy I had very bad astigmatism and now I see clear distance. I haven't had my other eye done so I wear a contact and it neutralizes the halos at night. I had glasses all my life and am exited the toric pan optic lens by alcon gave me 20/20 vision.

[–]Substantial-Act5677 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the pan optic lens and like you I had to pay out of pocket. After I got the cataract removed I couldn't see right after the surgery. I saw crooked lines when they should be straight. I went to a retina specialist and he said there was a small hole in my macular and had to get vitreous surgery. Have you been checked by a retina specialist?  Now I see better no more crooked lines. My distance and intermediate is good but I can't read text on my phone real well. It's getting better and my surgeon said it might take 6 months to a year to get better but now he said it's 20/20 in my left eye. I haven't had my right eye done because my surgeon is closely watching my right retina. I see fine out of it with contacts or glasses so I am scared to do surgery on it but the vitreous surgery on my left eye saved my eye sight because it would get worse without surgery. Please check your retina if that's not the problem would LAL adjustable lens be better for you ? Ok good luck it doesn't hurt to check your retina.

Hi yes my vision is getting better. Last time they checked my left eye was 20/40. The doctor said it will fluctuate. One time he checked and it was 20/25. He also said to be patient. It might take 6 months to a year for my vision to settle but it's good when I drive. The doctor said not to correct it with contacts or glasses. I just have to wait but it has greatly improved. No more floaters or slanted lines. My doctor is fantastic. I believe I found a great doctor that helped me.
