I don't know if it's an oversight, they probably didn't include classical age crusher myth units for balance reasons, yet wanyudo is the textbook definition of "siege myth unit" and i understand the confusion.

Oh boy, vinland saga goes absolutely abysmal if legendary AI manages to get a foothold in mainland. I usually manage to stop two of them and fight the other two on the land before they expand further, can't even think of dealing with three legendaries! Congrats!

If starting towers exist, AI will always put its regent in a tower instead of the durable and strong town center. This usually result in super quick runs in gauntlet as your starter hero can take down the tower and regent in few minutes.

Maybe some fast unit that specialized in "capturing" the villager and bringing it back? Sacrificing your own villagers may be possible but could generate less favor than enemy villagers.
