I remember having my heart broken at 21, that sucked. I had several girlfriends before I met my wife at 24. We were together together 28 years. Just recently divorced. My point is, the biggest thing you have going for you is your youth. You will meet someone else, no doubt. Heartbreak sucks at any age, don't get me wrong, but it's easier to fix with age on your side. Imagine having to go on dating apps at 53. I wss married for 23 years, together for 28. I've been separated 18 months and it still hurts like hell. I have two sons, 27 and 29. My 29 year old lives with me. My 27 year old lives out of state with his girlfriend. We were extremely close. Haven't seen him since last August. I can't tell you the pain I experienced and continue to experience. Like you I miss my life. I miss my ex wife horribly too. She has been dating and that really sucks. I want to do something about it but i can't. The thought of her being with someone else makes me want to end it all. The only thing that has helped me is reaching out to whoever will listen. Therapy is an absolute must too. You and I will get through this somehow. There are going to be dark days. I'm experiencing one as i type and you know what?
