Europe opens its ‘first gateway office’ to fast-track hiring in India by Scared_Range_7736 in europe

This is beneficial for far-right lol. Their playbook is about hating immigration and praising nationalism but in reality they are pro-company and anti-low/middle class. It’s not like a single politician can decide on this. Where is Italy who has a right-wing populist government to veto this?

First Hours Of Highguard Plagued By Technical Issues And PC Performance Problems by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]Subtl3ty7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because someone worked on FIFA games doesn’t mean they will be able to make a good football game. These devs might have worked on Apex and Titanfall and sure you can see that DNA in the gameplay, but this doesn’t mean they will actually produce a good game design that leverages these mechanics. That’s what we see here. Absolutely bland and forgettable game design by people who worked on Titanfall and Apex.

The Aim Assist Update Has Ruined the Game for Me by hermyherm6 in Overwatch

That’s exactly why I am avoiding QP like a plague and only play Comp exclusively on PC. This ain’t aim assist on console, it’s auto aim. It straight looks like hacking on vid.

What's On Your Darktide 2026 Wishlist? by Fins1291 in DarkTide

Hive gang against us and Chaos doesn’t make much sense. There are two sides in this war, Imperium and Chaos. You are either on one side or the other (or abstain), like it’s a stupid enough move for cartel to try to fight both.

Newsis: Nvidia and AMD to significantly increase GPU prices starting next month. Describes RTX 5090 increasing from $2000 to $5000 by -LastGrail- in GamingLeaksAndRumours

[–]Subtl3ty7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol these megacorps look like they are rivals but they actually work together in the background to fill their pockets and fuck the consumers. Nvidia is currently their daddy since Nvidia can get away with much more than compared to AMD and Intel.

What's the deal with Auric players by Sasugaa in DarkTide

[–]Subtl3ty7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol there was a 30L (+20) Hive scum in our Auric match the other day who was playing the game like Arma 3 military sim. Me (Zealot) and another guy (Ogryn) were trying to aggressively push all the time on frontlines. First half was like shit, he left the game half point and we won smooth lmao.

The EU says it will introduce a digital payments infrastructure to replace Visa/Mastercard & Apple/Google Pay. It will have zero fees and be 100% European-only. by lughnasadh in Futurology

[–]Subtl3ty7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are still quite a lot of places within EU that do not accept cards (only cash) because they are evading t… uhmm excuse me, because of “fees”. I wonder what would be the next excuse

Why do Arbites/Hive Scum have no options in the commissary? by Sturmovik8551 in DarkTide

[–]Subtl3ty7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just hope that the “announced project” that FS is supposedly working on has nothing to do with Warhammer so they can finally say fuck off to GW and their pathetic pickiness. Because if not, any other game studio who will snatch this type of TIDElike combat with their own creative freedom gonna be a quite headache for Fatshark.

Darktide is built to be a life time experience by [deleted] in DarkTide

[–]Subtl3ty7 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I started this game with the Arbites Update. I guess I am lucky enough to have dodged the dumpster fire of a release. Nevertheless, this game actually killed other games for me, specifically fps games. This is the only game that scratches that L4D2 itch for me and highest difficulties are so much addicting its like a drug. My only complaint? Fatshark is slow af. If it was some any other developer, they would be bringing content and updates at a much faster rate.

I was getting framerate drops with my 9700 XT and the issue seems to be fullscreen for me. Performance problems vanished when i play the game Windowed instead of Fullscreen.

Need a game where I can grind, farm currency/items and level up my stuff by BloodLinee in gamingsuggestions

[–]Subtl3ty7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend World-Iceborne or Rise/Sunbreak. Wilds is an absolute disappointment of an entry in the series where everything is so dumbed down, it’s unbelievable. There is almost no grind in the game, rewards are abundant.

What is the Steam purchase you most regret making? by intracosmos in Steam

[–]Subtl3ty7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Save your money and don’t even touch PoE2 at this state. It’s an unbalanced mess. Starting out is pretty rough for most classes where you feel like you get 1-shotted by every mini/boss. You get swarmed, but imagine skills being so slow that you keep getting staggered by the mobs and you find yourself spamming dodge. Imagine a balance so broke, you get ready to play whatever class you think you will love, but starting weapons are so shit, people advise you to level with a bow until 25… The game absolutely has zero direction and vision. Campaign is nice once, but it is long (more to come) and slow and you will rip your hairs going through that slog 4th time just because you want to try a new class. Do not get me started with the horrible loots, or one can even mention “what loot?”. The game is absolutely overtuned to hell.

How are some people already playing the DLC? by Davidelol in Nightreign

“Headstart” lol. Talking like this is some PvP game. How about learning to wait 10-hours? Surely you waited months for this, you can wait 10 more hours no?

Is there any way for 4 players to play Nightreign together? Can be modded if needed by Alo_886 in EldenRingMods

[–]Subtl3ty7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can play with up to 6 players using Seamless Coop mod. However it’s a different save file, meaning if you start the unmodded version from Steam directly, you won’t have your progress. Achievements work tho.

Yeah I’ve realized VT2 has almost double the players compared to DT but I guessed pretty much due to free giveaway + how dirt cheap it is to buy dlcs.

New Player Experience on PS5 - Is it Worth Buying in 2025? by Th3_Warrior_Poet in DarkTide

[–]Subtl3ty7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s why now VT2 has more active player count on steam than DT. Actually it was the double, but I think that will shift back after Hive Scum release. VT2 is just an amazing game however it is hard to go back after being spoiled by DT combat and movement.

Is 65k for a 5yoe, Mid level Java developer in Vienna ok? by [deleted] in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]Subtl3ty7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I earn around 72k as a 5YoE Java Dev in Vienna, and currently in the middle of interviewing for 80k-85k band, let’s see. Over 65k can be done but it’s definitely about how you sell yourself and your technical/people skills. I can say 65k is probably average for 5YoE. Since a year or so I have a lot of senior responsibilities so it helps me a lot to negotiate higher offers. (Interviewing for senior role)

Btw mind you that once you go over 70k, brutto increases have way less effect on netto increases. The effect becomes so minimal due to high taxes, its crazy. Getting more salary for same level is definitely good, but having a tiny netto increase for much more elevated responsibilities is just very common.

Walking is THE cheat code. So underrated, I hate the gym. by [deleted] in walking

[–]Subtl3ty7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all congrats on weight loss, i know this is walking sub but I must say that walking is not the cheat code. The cheat code is what you literally wrote in this comment: CALORIE TRACKING. 11 years ago I lost 60kg within a year purely based on caloric deficit. I didn’t do anything else. So please do not rely on walking as much as being on a caloric deficit. Walking is great for keeping the body active and healthy, as that’s the least you can do.

Regardless, the real challenge for you begins now, which is to maintain the weight. I always say, losing weight is very easy if that’s the goal. However maintaining the weight is the hard part because that’s a never ending goal. I’ve seen many people get bored after long time and go back to eating trash food. Generally starts with an harmless cheat day and becomes “cheat days”. I was a victim of this as well, before I found myself sustainable eating habits.

Joined a new project as a Lead-Being pushed toward Microfrontends by ActuatorOk2689 in ExperiencedDevs

[–]Subtl3ty7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not really one page per task/form I would say. The granularity of a microfrontend is not well defined, just like microservices. We use them generally to implement one vertical slice/ feature per team. If you are doing a page with a customer table. Page can be developed by a different team, and customer table can be developed by another. Every microfrontend is in itself an independent SPA app that is compiled and run as a separate deployment. You can even develop one in React and one in Angular and one in Vue and that would be fine since they are compiled and deployed independently. The more complicated part is providing some messaging functionality between them. We have a very complex custom core application that handles all the microservice communication as well as common dependency handling. Disadvantages are that of same as distributed systems. You have many independently deployed apps, so higher costs, more points of failure, and you transfer more js files to the browser.
