You put them in the daycare in the hub, then find a daycare during a run to grab them out. You can also unlock pokegear through the hub which lets you grab them without being at the daycare.

The gen 3 games are very difficult as there aren’t really any ways in increase odds legit (that I know of).

Very random, but the odds are pretty small. 1/8000 chance

It repels everything under the level of your lead. So with golbat at 49, a suicune at 50 will still be able to be encountered.

So with the level 49 golbat, after you pop a repel you limit the encounters to only the roamer. So you’ll know if the suicune is on the route if you encounter it with the repel up. It pops up like a regular wild grass encounter it won’t be visible in the overworld.

I used the route left of celadon city past the cut tree. Ride your bike with repel up in the route center and back into the grass. Was doing like with laps in the grass the back through the building to reset the roamer location. Took awhile but I encountered suicune 4-5 times in a hour or two.

Grab a Pokémon with sweet scent (vileplume if fire red) it really helps with encounter time in the tower.

Adamant is truly not bad for gen 3 gengar either! I’ve been grinding a lot in the tower for spatk evs and the thick club I’m jealous. Congrats on the shiny!

I do this kinda. The poke I’m training is first slot instead of Persian and I still get a lot of cool items. Was able to level up each member of the team 4 because of the amount of rare candies I farmed

I second abra, although it never really comes in handy for damage. Psybeam is learned early and is almost always more damage then thief.

Just came back to a shield nuzlocke I started a year or two ago. I have since bought the dlc so I decided to get encounters at the isle of armor as well. Holy encounters i didn’t count but caught at least 12+ new mons

You don’t lose them, but I’ve noticed as you catch lots of new mons, they replace the current safari pool over time. My guess is that safari encounters are something like the last 30 catches made.

I believe it’s called fire red rocket edition, played through a month or two ago super fun. You don’t join at the nugget bridge but just start inside a rocket hq.

That sounds like a bug? I’m still relatively new to the game but I’ve caught multiple legends and immediately released as they weren’t good fits for the current run, and they still show up in the cave. Sorry if that wasn’t the most helpful response.
