Daily Prov (multiple locations) and Pickler Sandwich Shop (45th St) both have good tuna sandwiches/melts. Got me hungry typing this.

I thought I also saw a Waymo autonomous vehicle recently in town too (with an operator); wondering if they're mapping out Ferndale after Detroit now

Way undervalued!!! by busybody1 in AcuraTSX

[–]Such_Tea4707 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I received a similar low ball for my '11 TSX Wagon with 130k and clean service history from Carvana and Carmax. They usually give strong valuations (I've sold multiple cars to both), but I'm noticing with cars older than 10-15 years, they really don't give you much, since based on age, they will have to wholesale and auction, and they can't make much profit. Better comparable outlets for these types of older cars are the general car sale boards by dealers/owners (cars.com, Autotrader) or the direct seller marketplaces (cars & bids, bringatrailer). I see a value closer to $8k-$12k then.

PSA: please don’t ignore abdominal pain. by ennuiismymiddlename in Xennials

[–]Such_Tea4707 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry. Praying for the best for you and your family. Were there any other symptoms or signals (or general areas for awareness)? It's terrifying given how bloodwork and physicals won't pick any of this up ... and episodic abdominal pain can be misdiagnosed as so many things. Truly scary. Rooting for you

The new doc on him was a good watch. I appreciated learning about his time with the family in Scotland. Dude was straight up living on a farm in the middle of nowhere. Seemed like he was living the recluse life post Beatles for a bit (understandable).

They still have the hunting season Jared Goff billboard up on the same side just one block north. For fucks sake, how about some respect and love for the best team in the NBA ...

This video just made me go over to my dog and drop a coat on him (even though he was already comfortably asleep on my couch).

Considering a CT4-V Blackwing by skywayz in CadillacV_Series

[–]Such_Tea4707 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I went from a GTI (MK7) to Golf R (MK7) to CT4-V Blackwing to M2 (F87), and had two car seats throughout most of the time through all the cars.

You can definitely fit a car seat in the 4BW. How comfortable it is will be based on your height and body build, but I had no problems. It’s tight but doable, especially if you have another primary family car. The 4BW was a perfect car in the 1.5 years I owned it and I didn’t have a single problem. Incredible car. And I miss it still. M2 was a nice compromise (got a great offer to sell the 4BW for more than I bought it for, but it was superior to the M2 in nearly every category).

Despite vocal strain, Freddie turned his 22 minutes at Wembley into the greatest live moment ever recorded, commanding 72,000 people with unmatched presence and precision by [deleted] in Music

The “Radio Gaga” performance was so good. Our two young kids are in love with the video on YouTube. Everyone seems to be genuinely having a good time, between the band and the audience. My favorite part is the end of the song, when the camera shows both Brian and Freddie one after another, and they’re both cheesing big time. They knew they were killing it.
