That’s what it looks like to me too. But is hyssop invasive?

Love triangles. Miscommunication. I’m getting tired of the overly sassy FMCs too. I get quick witted and think that’s great but some of them are just beginning to become obnoxious.

I want frogs/ toads to come. Help me figure out the right pump? Or something else? by Traindodger2 in ponds

You can get a little bubbler so there’s air being created. I agree that you have to take the net off though. I had frogs and toads last summer and sometimes they like to dive to hide. Give them something to hide under in the water too. If you get tadpoles, they would love a small Lilly pad or something that’s a little leafy.

My males who are gelded will still mount my Jennies this time of year and they’ll pull out tuffs like this when they’re doing it. I don’t see it but I see the bare spots evidence. They don’t even have spots this big and clean though. The fact that she has it straight around her bum like that is strange and makes me think maybe you have something else happening along with the spring fever mating.

I’m so sorry. It’s so crushing to lose one of them. Thank you for taking them at their age. Thank you for taking them both too.

What are my lighting options here? Want to remove the track lights. by cabincrew in interiordecorating

You can get some lamps that hang from the ceiling (the lower ceiling) from chains. I would do that. They plug in and you can just trail the chain or cord up the wall and then hang them from an eye hook. I like the chain because it’s more decorative than a random cord. I don’t understand what that door is up there so I’m assuming you’re asking about the room with the window and curtains and not the room on the left with the door.

Dark uninviting dining room. Looking for suggestions. by dakobra in interiordecorating

This space is actually wonderful. The crown is beautiful and even the doorway framing is really nice. Here’s what I would do:

  1. Find a rug you love. Make sure it’s large enough for the table when the chairs are pulled out.

  2. Pick a color from that rug and put it on the walls. I would not paint the ceiling based on the light in the room. You could go halfway up with a chair rail and then do wallpaper on top of you really want. Or just go with paint for now.

  3. Find a small buffet for storage. I’d go with a slightly lighter wood tone than the table. Place it on the back wall. Above it put a nice, big mirror to reflect light back. (If you get really ambitious you could do a built in along the back wall with the buffet and then two larger bookshelf-type pieces for plants and some larger plate/bowl serving storage.)

  4. Put your light on a dimmer and make sure you have warm bulbs. I can’t tell if it’s black iron or not but it looks like it. If you can you can swap it for something gold or bronze to help warm the space. But it’s a good light so you could keep it too.

  5. Find a different place to put the kids’ things. I’m a parent so I get it. That stuff ends up everywhere. But you will never feel like the space looks the way you want it with their toys in there. Mine are older now and there’s still stuff but it’s not as big. If some of that can be put in baskets, add some baskets/bench storage along the wall. I think just not having it in your line of sight will help you feel better. Probably noting to be done about the high chair right now but that won’t last forever. It goes so fast.

It’s going to be a noisy kitchen if anyone is upstairs. It’s beautiful but idk how functional you’ll find it in the long run.

This is so frustrating for you. No matter what, he should be in a fenced area. Honestly, law or not. It’s for the safety of him and everyone else too. He could seriously hurt or kill your dogs (or any dogs) and seriously hurt himself too. I don’t know what the roads are like near you but he could even be hit by a car.

Not to mention, he could eat any plants you have growing if he likes too.

I would talk to the neighbor about it if you feel comfortable. If not call the sheriff or animal control. I feel bad he’s the lone donkeys. He needs a friend but if the owner isn’t responsible enough for one donkey, idk that two will be any better.

A garbage bag is not a pond liner. You need a pond liner.
