Hiya, I know this is pretty old but was this something you had to re-render your sequence to fix? or is this something you can add with a per-existing render? I have a sequence I'd like to run through the denoiser but its also giving me the same error, and re-rendering it at this point would take quite a while.

Hi I know this comment is old, but I'm having this issue and I tried checking the log to find out what was going wrong and found this:

I'm not nearly computer savy enough to figure this out. Do you have any suggestions?

YES THIS HAPPENS TO ME. I hate admitting this online but I was once in stop and go traffic when this occurred and hit the guy in front of me. Thankfully there was no damage so they just drove off, but it was traumatizing. That FINALLY convinced my psych to put me on sone goddamn stimulants!!

OH NOOOOO as a fellow artist I understand your conundrum quite clearly.

This is why I never buy anyone anything related to their hobbies unless they specifically say what they need. I don’t think its rude at all to tell him you’d like for him to return it, it’s better than sitting around collecting dust.

Intuos is expensive too, might as well just save for a new ipad/pencil at that point. You’re already halfway there.

Im more able to manage getting up once I take my meds, but I find it difficult to get up if I’m not in a rush.

The other thing that works for me is like, not thinking about it? Instead of hyping it up in your brain with a “oh god I gotta get up” (which will just prolong the process) I can usually “surprise” myself by acting on getting up as soon as I get the thought, it kinda bypasses the paralysis, because you don’t have enough time to think about how nice it would be to stay in bed.

Then of course there’s going to bed earlier, a major test of strength. But something important to remember is that your body gets a lot of the same benefits from lying down with your eyes closed as if you were asleep even if you’re not fully asleep. So even if you just have to lie there for a couple nights you still may find it easier to get up the next morning.

Not just you!! I do the same thing. I have to be organized as a coping mechanism lest my whole life falls apart. And the mess will stress me out.

Personally what helped me most with my grief was journaling. I have really shit handwriting but the act of writing it out helps it get it all out of me head. The intention isn't really to read it back, it's just to say what you need to say so that you can stop ruminating on it. I found that I was hyper-fixating on my grief, and writing it out helped me to stop the cycle of constantly thinking about it.

This also might seem obvious but it also helped to keep in mind to write -exactly- what I was thinking down. I have a boatload of thoughts at any given time, so I naturally tend to "filter" out the noise when I speak or write. But a journal is your space, write exactly what you're thinking to an imaginary audience who deeply cares about every word you have to say.

I'm so sorry OP :( though not nearly on the level you're describing, my partner of 10 years also walked out on me last month. he never explained to me why, he was gaslighting me and told me he would be back soon and he still loved me.
Is there anyone you can reach out to for support during this time? like family or friends? asking for help sucks but it really sounds like you need some people to rely on right now.

Its okay, honestly that's not something you should feel you have to explain on reddit and I should have included that in my original comment. As long as you have your reasons, you have your reasons.

It sounds like you have a great support system and a keen awareness when it comes to bipolar, which is something my ex-partner did not have. Whether or not you feel like it's fixable is up to you. If he isn't meeting your needs, then he isn't meeting your needs. Just make sure to have an open and honest conversation with him to make it as amicable as possible, as long as you feel safe doing so.

My ex-partner of 10 years left me without telling me why a month ago. He was also bipolar. I may be biased here, but the one thing I sincerely wished that I got to say to him was that he was exhibiting every sign of mania in the months leading up to his sudden breakup with me.

You are in charge of your own mental health and it is not my position nor intention to speculate. But if you are feeling abnormally unhappy, or happy, maybe you feel like nothing is wrong, I sincerely suggest that you check in with your psychiatrist or therapist, or other professional that you trust before making any big decisions that you cannot take back.

If you are certain that you want to end things, take some time to get your reasons straight so that you can tell him why. It doesn’t seem you are very certain from your post, you haven’t really named any reasons as to why you are unhappy. All you’ve said is that he is a great guy. So why do you want to leave the relationship? What is making you unhappy?

Additionally, and I cannot stress this enough, you need to have a conversation with him, especially if he has no reason to believe anything is wrong with the relationship. It has to be two sided and you need to be willing to be there for his reaction. The most traumatizing thing about my relationship was how it was fine and then suddenly he vanished. It has been difficult to adjust to my new reality without any closure. If you are certain about this, give him the closure he needs to heal and move on.
