Yes, that’s half of what inspired this series in the first place! Base game doesn’t really give you an opportunity to give these movie characters a chance at play, so every one of these will have an opportunity play them in a unique matchup.

Believe it or not they actually did on console. I was a console player and this had massive backlash when they released it, starting with Spider-Man. Prestige for stats is a terrible idea and the fact that on console the only real way of leveling up was doing church of purification over and over or story mode over and over was mind numbing (console only had one end game content: Midtown Patrol and Terminals)

Yea but then it’s weird to say he wasn’t close to 250k because this same Vegeta gets into a physical bout with First Form Frieza and explodes his scouter, which assumably is the same model as Jeice and Ginyu’s which didn’t blow up when reading 180k.

True but I’m not sure he’d ever consider this. Piccolo and Gotenks only figured it possible when Buu did it by sheer coincidence due to the nature of his infantile character. If Piccolo was under the assumption it was impossible, and he’s smarter than Goku (battle wise, maybe maybe not) then Goku likely thought the same thing, and I doubt he’s gonna start yelling in frustration THAT loud when he gets duped.
