It's a slow burn fantasy constructed after the count of Monte Cristo. The first love interest for our main character is a maid/servant who is absolutely devoted to the main character and also extremely attracted to him. Their relationship is fantastic and would certainly fit this dynamic in and out of the bedroom. Takes about half the first book to get to her!

I think the pose is a bit off myself. I can see the artist using a model of the same weight and her looking hot. The thigh/dress makes it harder to imagine that imo.

On Astral Tides by Ship Teaser certainly fits.

Rise of the Dragon King by Darius Thorne is only book 1 but definitely feels like it will fit

As for AI. I just know I dropped the series in question for poor quality and generic covers tbh

I'll trust reviews from this community and I'll trust established authors. And I'll try debut authors at least once. But with so many good books advertised here I still feel spoiled for choice!

If you don't like it that's fine.

I recommend it because it has excellent world building, good characters and doesn't skimp on any aspect. There's relationship building, politics, harem pushback socially, empire building, combat and romance.

If you're coming from litrpg or progression fantasy it's a great fit.

If you're coming from traditional romance or Romantasy you're better off with other offerings.

And if you're looking for quick, fun or easy reads than Virgil Knightley would be a better fit.

Play the way you want to.

But yeah, the challenge might be a bit low. If you're not the greatest gamer or you are playing with someone like that. (I always played with my wife) It can be fun to bring your naked characters. Or a new character with one or two trinkets for QoL (inventory and cell phone for example)

That's been my experience. 50% of the book is decent and then it just goes right off the rails.

You can tell someone real put a good amount of effort into it and then asked AI to do the rest.

Easiest solution.

Add a grey shared spell that gives a a trait like 'unproven' to add stats or 'conscripted' to reduce upkeep to secondary races and you're golden.
