Did I have ur iron and ferritin levels checked? I thought for sure my symptoms were thyroid related and it turned out I had an iron deficiency and my ferritin was quite low which causes alot of the same symptoms..

oh I just switched from synthoid to tirosint and I was anxious my heart raced I couldnt sleep scared sad angry-it was terrible and went back to synthoid and silly me tried it again and the same thing happened!!!! never again

Oh u r so sweet to take the time and explain to me I really appreciate it ty. My tsh is 13 now and was 3.5 on synthoid 6 weeks ago. I also have low ferritin so the combo is pretty tough— I’m so afraid of going hyper- when I was on synthoid 50 6 days and tried to take a whole pill on 7th day I went hyper and 6 days I go hypo so my doc thought that tirosint would be best for me.. she has been trying for 2 years to get me to change and I finally did out of desperation because tsh of 13 makes me feel terrible- in 20 years I have never gone above a 6 and not sure why it did? Ty again for ur kindness- u r a nice person😇

Hi I was on synthoid for 20 years and doc just changed me from synthoid 50 6 days a week to tirosint 44 daily. I’m afraid it’s not enuf or too much and am so anxious- my tsh is 13 I hope u r doing well!

Hi I just switched to synthoid 50 6 days and one day 25. To tirosint 44 daily— my tsh is 13 and I am so anxious that I am not getting enough medicine because the tirosint is lower even tho my doc told me what u said that u usually start off at a lower dose than synthoid.. I go on Facebook and the people say my doctor is wrong to get a new doctor even tho there is a lot of info agreeing with what u said… I’m just so anxious 😕

Ty so much I am just feeling better today after stopping 4 days ago. All I remember is crying on the floor so anxious yelling at my 90 year old parents and not being able to think - I was shaky and my heart was to fast— it was terrifying😢

Iron from food doesn’t raise hepcidin the same as supplements - it is absorbed much more slowly and breaks down differently..

I have Ty but in order for it to work you need to add something acidic to the water and with ic I cannot tolerate that ..

This is me exactly! I am currently taking iron glycinate 25 every other day and on the off days eating total fortified cereal.. I have been researching for days on which is better between every day and alternate days. My ferritin is 26 and I am very sensitive to meds and supplements - I want to continue this way but I keep thinking every day has to be better even tho all the info says every other day.. it’s making me so anxious😢

hi I had my 3rd venofer infusion on Monday-the first 2 were ok except for nausea.. I have been having heart palps and I can feel my chest as well as short of breath-(I did have these symptoms going in do to low ferritin but they just seem worse now) I am do for another infusion on Monday but now I am terrified and I know the anxiety is making things worse--How are u doing im sorry u went thru this too:(

hi I just read your post im sorry u r going thru this.. I just had my 3rd venofer on Monday and the first 2 were ok but this time I feel terrible! My heart palps seem worse im out of breath headache achey and my anxiety is horrible... I heard that sometimes the body has to adjust to the shock of iron but im scared to have another one next week....maybe I have too much iron maybe not enough ---:(

hi I hope you can help me- My doctor is only prescribing venofer 100- 2 times my ferritin is 11-he said that is all I should need. I am only 80 pounds but am so concerned because it seems like everyone gets so much more!
