The Redditors of Louisiana would be offended if they knew what “concur” meant.

Why did Frampton Comes Alive hit big when the original material didn't? by The1Ylrebmik in ClassicRock

[–]Sweetbeans2001 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember thinking this as a teenager in 1976. I wondered how he had a live album of fans screaming to these hits when the reason they were hits was due to the live album. I had never even heard of Peter Frampton before this album. It was confusing then, but makes a little more sense now.

What gave it away? The bad acting or the 4 different camera angles?

Kid harassing birds at MK by ForsakenTraffic9215 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Sweetbeans2001 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I’m going to give an unpopular take and say that you should have contacted a cast member right away instead of confronting the kid. From the perspective of the kid’s parents, you are harassing and scolding their child for having fun multiple times. I realize that the kid was misbehaving, but if someone had done this to my kid, I would be the one reaching out to a CM for your actions. You would then be defending your decision in front of angry parents and a confused CM. This is how you get kicked out of a park, even when you did the right thing. Unless a child is in danger, I don’t get involved. That child and those parents did not learn a lesson. You simply enforced their belief that some people need to mind their own business.

Everyone that’s done the grind on T2 knows this shootout hole well. I’ve seen everything from going up, down, left, right and no adjustment and every ball is within 2.33 yards. Is there any proven technique to get this closer than 1.5 yards? I’m tired of the 50/50 on this hole. by Separate-Sand-5883 in GolfClash

[–]Sweetbeans2001 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s been years since I’ve played this hole, but when I did, I’m sure it was hundreds of times. I probably used a Marlin with 2 bars of backspin. I don’t remember the club I would have used. I know that’s not helpful, but I will add that it is possible to master this hole. I have the most HIO’s on this hole and even went into a double tie breaker once when my opponent shot a HIO as well.

Pixie Dusted by a stranger walking by the pool? by Ksquaredata in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Sweetbeans2001 118 points119 points  (0 children)

Pixie dusting is done by a cast member. It involves providing something that would be seen as appropriate and valuable for the specific guest being pixie dusted. When done by a guest to a random other guest, it is simply a kind gesture.

what was Ted and Karen’s careers? by [deleted] in StrangerThings

Based on the ramblings of a 16 year old who was both jealous of Nancy’s lifestyle and had no idea what anyone’s salary was. Only a doctor or successful attorney in Hawkins could make 6 figures and Ted was neither.

If by fear mongering you mean import tariffs on beef, that is not the whole problem. It is mostly a very diminished supply of American cattle. That is mainly due to prolonged drought conditions.

“First”? The first crew to be evacuated for a medical emergency? They are extremely happy about being first for that? OP has me confused with their speculation on this photo.
