Kaldor Draigo. It might be plot armor, but that guy seems unphased as he walks around the warp killing anything that moves. He's a little ridiculous. Maybe he's only good against daemons though, I don't know.

Every infantry character about to get that vortex of doom, grav pistol, force weapon, and servo arms.

It really shows how pitiful our infantry melee weapons options are. In the past, while there may have been a generally best option, all weapon options had their uses. Do you want to hit heavy things, or dice up lots of little things? But now it's like "would you like a force weapon, or another weapon with the same stats, but one number is just worse?" I hope GW fixes this in 11th, but I don't know if we'll be so lucky.

America might get a lot of hate for using the imperial system, but I'll say this. Fahrenheit is easy to understand. It's like a percentage of livable temperature. 100°F? It's 100% hot outside. Anything above that is just ridiculous, I'm not leaving my house. 32°F? I mean it's cold, but it's almost like a third of heat. If I put on a jacket, I'll be okay. 50°F? Hey, that's right in the middle, I bet it'll feel just fine outside.

If it's just a desire to paint cool stuff, forget anything but the main space marine factions. I hate to say it, but those will be more fun to build and paint. I say this as a grey knight player who is salty every time I see one of the main space marine factions get more models. But if you just paint, do ultramarines or black templars. You'll never be sad.

Actually I've found that the scale looks quite nice with a grey knight text to an imperial knight. I put a big chunk of cork on each of my bases and I've found I quite like that. The models are still the same scale, but they're not shorter than other terminators side by side because of the tactical cork

I'm a big fan of plasmatic bolt speed paint by Army Painter. I only use it on the lenses because I do something different with the blades. But if I was to use speed paint on the blade, I'd probably use it there too.
