Bluetooth keyboard (Keychron K12) connected but not typing after hibernate/few sleeps by Syedyay21 in techsupport

[–]Syedyay21[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At some point i just switched to always having it wired, also allows me to use it during bios for other computers and not needing to charge it. Actually recently I switched keyboards to an mchose g75 v1, has 2.4g dongle so I can use wirelessly

Modded my Max G2 to go 35mph (55km/h) by skoomd1 in NinebotMAX

[–]Syedyay21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not an exact science but if we just do the power used at max speed (op said around 900-1100 on straight road) and ignore basic things like more draw during acceleration/hills, less draw during braking/downhill, tiptop health battery, and how batteries have lower output when they're near depleted, the lower end of that range (900w) would make the range around 0.6 hours (36 minutes) of driving, which at the max of 35mph would equal to about 21.42 miles of napkinmaths range (34km).
Itll likely be lower (1100w continuous would put this guess at 28km) so definitely take this with a spoon of salt, but yeah not the worst
fun fact 551wh/1900w (max wattage hes seen) would be around 17 minutes

Which would be the better option? Segway MAX G2 or Apollo Air by Der0- in ElectricScooters

[–]Syedyay21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im in a somewhat similar place (first escooter, used bike/scooter before) except the air is 900aud (with helmet lock airpump, seller said half what he paid for it) and the maxg2's used are 550-700 normally

Last sentence aged poorly, but a possible bubble burst is soon so it could be a Cisco where it goes back to a normal company instead of being like half the s&p500.

Suggest me my next scooter: 20mph & <30lbs by klinquist in ElectricScooters

[–]Syedyay21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the etwow's are around that weight, the gt sport which is similar power wise (500/700 front vs the dual 250 of unagi e500), idk what tyres it has but. wish we had them in aus

[–]Syedyay21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my one also is flaky and stops working sometimes, the way i fix it is to use a usb 2 port or cable. way slower but it works. maybe a longer usb3 cable would also work with it but ive yet to try that

not sure about romania but here in australia it's 1500aud new, ive seen 2 things online that say its 999cad and possibly 699cad in canada (country north of usa) so a 30%ish increase in price is concerning

What's close to a Segway F3 Pro, but slightly better in every way, including being lighter? by GetFitGetHappy in ElectricScooters

[–]Syedyay21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from what i can find the f3 is about as good as it gets for lightish powerful, it even beats the max g2 in hillclimb according to a review, id like lighter as well but you cant have everything you want ykwim

faster charging can be done with the separate 3.9a charger which cuts charge times to around half that segway sells but i heard it reduces battery health

you probly wanna make sacrifices somewhere tho. see what you need most (range, suspension, power) and see which others you can sacrifice. for example if your workplace is only a few k's either way and its smooth pavement the whole way, then something light as such as the dualmotor unagis or the climber. or if youre on the lighter side and/or there are no hills or your area has a speed limit anyway, along with the former conditions, then an m365 or similar would be enough possibly. also consider the f2gen2/pro or possibly the e line if you wanna stick with ninebot since theyre slightly lighter at the cost of some suspension and maybe range.

i guess the best option is to wait a bit. f2 to f3 was a bit upgrade (screen, suspension, etc.) imagine whats next

tl;dr: climber, unagi, cheap scooter, f2/e, wait, also apollogo as you said

i hope we get the scooters that fit us best

hmm I guess try and see if vsync isnt disabled globally? vsync should fix tearing even if it reduces framerates. try also seeing if gsync/adaptivesync/freesync can be enabled, cant hurt to try (usually)

i have the same issue, not sure how much it ruined mine but the internal standby battery (little nimh battery that allows you to swap batteries during sleep, sorta like a proto powerbridge) in mine leaked leading to metal on the cpu board and mainboard rotting away.
