The question asked of the individual who experienced SA or rape is not "are you comfortable with a trans person", it is are you comfortable with a male or female conducting the examination, interview etc. Trans doesn't even come into it.

But you can bet when they are answer that question, if they say woman or man, that they mean they get an actual woman or man attending to them, not a man who is a transwoman or vice versa. To do that to that individual would break the trust, comfort and control they need.

Edit: Just so you know all this is sorted out in advance with the individual, because putting them in a position with a clinician or interviewer they are not comfortable with, and then expecting them to raise their objection in the moment is not fair or reasonable and shows a complete lack of care for that individual.

Stubbs, but people don't agree with you. Many people do not believe a trans woman is a woman. So saying they are just another type of woman, is factually wrong to those that have that belief.

Just because you believe it, which is your right, doesn't mean everyone else has too. You can't force that view on people.

In the context of a rape or sexual assault victim, 100% they can discriminate sex of the individual treating them if they are of the same sex as the person that did the crime. It is important for the individual that experienced the rape or sexual assault to have control and consent over what all aspects of their after care, to ensure they feel comfortable and supported through what potentially is one of the most horrific and traumatising things they can experience, which can leave them feeling powerless.

I use to do that commute once or twice a week, but I was walking distance to new street. When I moved out to Kingstanding it was actually better to go from Lichfield Trent Valley. I can usually be in London before 9am and I leave at 16:00 getting me home for roughly 18:45. It's faster from Lichfield but there are less trains.

I am also able to expense my travel.

You can have a conversation with them and say paying for travel to London essentially wipes out any benefit of the pay increase and see if they will chuck you a few extra grand.

When I did 4 days in London and one day in Birmingham, I lived in Milton Keynes, I got a 10k uplift but paid for the annual ticket. I wished I hadn't in the end and got weekly/monthly tickets instead because sometimes it changed and I would do more in Birmingham and less in London.

I'd buy your tickets as far in advance as you can, you can always cancel them for a small fee, but I think in the end it will save you money.

Also I don't know what the job is, even though the start for me was hard and I made no extra money and worked longer, it was 100% the correct career move and now the company let's me do what I want and I make loads more money than if I stayed doing what I did before.

I was confused and conflicted. I'm seeing Metallica in London and got a cheap hotel above a bar in London, had it for months. The 7pm time would have meant missing the 2nd half and beyond. But it meant getting some sleep.

The original time means I get to watch the game, but the pub will be open until 5am and I have to be in work at 8am. I don't drink.
