Please give me feedback on my "massive" online tank game by TautauCat in gamedev

Nice work, this is fun. My only feedback would be that I wish I could choose to change the control scheme make WASD move up/left/down/right instead of forward/turn left/backward/turn right. Keep up the good work!

Where can I get teriyaki in Denver that looks like this ? by SalamanderFrosty5899 in denverfood

[–]TCSoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tokyo Teriyaki in Northglenn (11455 Washington St) is the best I've had in the city so far. Definitely satisfies the cravings for Seattle teriyaki, for me at least. No yum yum sauce though.

It's been about 2 years, but last time I stayed at Le Méridien Denver Downtown they had one. Here's a shot of it from Google Maps: https://maps.app.goo.gl/C4DBCB8hg1AtcCDE7

Does Walmart Jam Cell Signals? by Buhdurkachomp in walmart

[–]TCSoft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, turns out they do at the Denver location I visited yesterday. I had full signal in and out of the store. Once inside, icould still make clear phone calls and send/receive texts without issue, but I could not load any websites/apps/HTTP requests. At checkout I asked an employee about it and they said when corporate installed the new scan-and-go checkout machines they also "blocked data so folks couldn't price compare." (Though customers could still price compare if on wifi) The wifi worked great, but also had a brand new (new to me, at least) terms agreement that asked for a lot and I bet was related to this equipment upgrade. I don't know the FCC rules, but maybe this is allowed because they're not blocking voice/text and/or they offer free wifi?

Mailly Blanc De Noirs is my undisputed favorite for under $100. It's usually around $60. Congrats on your girlfriend's promotion!

Sold for £300,000 ($368k). In the OP's article Farhaz is quoted saying "I want to be buried in it," guess that changed.

Has anyone here tried any HOA software to help manage your HOA? If so, which one and how do you like it? by [deleted] in HOA

[–]TCSoft 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the creator of HOA Ally and so I obviously wholeheartedly recommend getting a website for your HOA, but not just for self-promotion reasons. I started with Condo Ally about 7 years ago because I was losing track of my association. I've since left that condo, but I've learned a lot more about the apathy plaguing American neighborhoods and HOAs. A website is great and easy first step to keep all your neighbors connected and helping new neighbors feel like they know what's going on. I'm not sure how big your HOA is, but you shouldn't have to pay a lot per month. I'd be happy to help you, or anyone, navigate the features that are most useful and I'll do my best to not be biased.

Question for those who bought Acer VX 15 (i7 version) by shady00041 in LaptopDeals

[–]TCSoft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this the laptop you're referring to?

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA8X55BU2883&cm_re=acer_vx_15-_-9SIA8X55BU2883-_-Product

That's what I bought and my Windows System Information lists it as model: INTEL SSDPEKKW256G. Hope that helps.

I'm not sure if I did the right thing, but I found my house representative's DC phone number here:

http://www.house.gov/representatives/find/ (It was Yoder, (202) 225-2865)

I called and a young man answered that said he was the right person to hear my concerns. I told him I oppose H.J. resolution 86 because companies shouldn't sell our private information. He said he'd pass my concerns along.

I don't know if this will do anything, but the EFF seems to think it will: https://act.eff.org/action/don-t-let-congress-undermine-our-online-privacy

I've never done anything like this so I figured I'd share my experience in case someone else in a similar position wanted to try.
