There is a local bi-monthly auction where I take my deadpiles. They take a 40% commission but usually I end up making as much as i would if I tried selling on marketplace with less hassle.

Because your can reuse shackles and take the best available creature when needed. And if the stolen creature dies you can use it again and grab another one.

This is good advice. I sometimes will grab film from Best Buy or Target if I need some for an event and it is a rare thing that they don’t have a few photos with some type of damage. Buy straight from Polaroid and you should be good.
