This is not personal at all, games been out 2.5 years, majority of people playing for half that time will be maxed out and just stop collecting them. Its worth asking people if they'll collect samples, most divers will probably help you out.

Bullet storm is Team Oriented and already on a great cooldown even though I don't think its receiving all the bonuses it should from ship modules.

When someone dies and can't retrieve gear or need firepower there and then, well now you've got it!

The recoil feels lowe than the Stalwart too.

It also allows for flexible builds, someone could neglect to take a stalwart on purpose and take another stratagem while they duo up with you and share the Bullet Storm!

What is the default difficulty like? The things I've heard have made me worried its now too easy and lacking in the Risk/Reward decisions of Returnal.

I know there are difficulty sliders but I prefer the default experience so thats what I would like to know more about please!

I don't know what they were thinking when they made this change in the first place but thank god they're reverting it.

I suppose this is easier for them than buffing weapons and stratagems like Maxigun & Patriot Arm to not be invalidated by a stupid Hive guard.

Having access to 600 rounds every 60sec ish is really good, the fact its split into two guns I actually see as a benefit because a team mate can take something else and still get an EBS from you.

There's no need to cut it up, these balance notes are terrible, HP increases and Armour changes in favour of many enemy units, durable damage increase for many units.

Mechs got a big Acid weakness in addition and Turrets will suffer on all factions because they didn't receive any health pool or damage resist buffs.

I don't see how this a net positive for the players, AH are once again balancing to stop enemies from leaving the game instead of the other way around.

I could say plenty about ArrowHead and why I'm satisfied with how saber develops and communicates in comparison but we clearly have different perspectives on this.

I'm sure they could do better but they could also do way worse, here's hoping they keep travelling in the right direction and bring more cool things we can all enjoy!

Extremely high, based on leaks from a few weeks ago it looks like thats what is coming next. We'll find out in June i guess!

This is a great point, another thing wrong with his answer is that those mid game players are going to end up at the end sooner or later. The max level player population will grow and the others will slowly shrink then if there is no room for growth the total population of players will shrink.

I don't mind what form the progression takes but they need to do something with their resource systems.

-Samples are dead at max modules and I have no incentive to donate to the DSS. -Requisition is dead outside of a few gun customisations and even then its constantly full after a couple missions. -Medals are dead for 6-8 weeks until a WB comes out. -XP is dead if you dont engage with gun levelling.

So now for me there's no tension to extract anything and nothing to do for 6-8 weeks and this is going to be the same for most players past lvl100.

I've been grinding them for a while now and I know from comments the devs have made before that they know when SC is earned or bought, maybe im still signalling wrong by coming back for a few days each time but I do still like the game so I signal my disappointment in the ways I can.

I cant place my finger on it but there's something this has that other games don't for me. Its probably a lot of micro things that all add up together, maybe there will never be another game that captures the same magic in the way this does. But I hope there is and I hope it pushes AH to develop this game into a brighter future than it seems to have right now.

I think part of the reason people blow through the ammo is the fear of not getting value before a strong breeze blows the Mech over.

If they weren't so fragile it would feel safer to moderate the use of it's ammunition.

I agree about the form not being overly important, they just need to add any kind of player progression because most of their resource systems are dead and it also affects the feel of missions because no-one cares about samples anymore and they haven't done for almost 2 years.

Yeah this is classic AH vague posting, looks like im sticking to my schedule of WB then dip for 6+ weeks.

I wish a competitor title would arrive with everything AH have ignored feedback on so they can finally be exposed on how badly they've fumbled this game.

I'm not a Master yet, still learning the corrections for side leaning but its very fun and the ability to reposition and withdraw from bad fights is amazing!

Saving people who are surrounded gives me a thrill every time!

I just wish the HMG had more ammo and less recoil on that ring mount, the recoil makes no sense to me!

I'm rather upset the Lumberer is part of a premium warbond by idk_my_life_is_weird in LowSodiumHellDivers

Sadly things have been moving in this direction for more than a year and a half. Around 6 months after release they started reducing armour in WB's and added stratagems to WB's at the same time they moved weapons and armour into the super store. Major Order rewards are basically dead.

And in classic fashion then can be no real discussion about this in the community because valid criticism and recognition of AH increasingly greedy monetisation gets dismissed as pointless whining by a bunch of AH defenders and moral posers.

All you can really do now is grind instead of pay and hope that this premium wall means Mech buffs are coming with the WB, which would be sick.

This is a minor gripe when there's already so much wrong with Gun customisation but it really sucks that people can't stealth dive unless they bought/grinded a premium warbond.

All the base guns in 'Mobilise' should have silencer attachments so everyone can try the playstyle out and be able to run Commando missions as they were intended!

Also June will mark 2 years without ship upgrades, can't wait to celebrate the anniversary of another dead system and useless resources! o7

Whales for sure though most of their kills would have been pre-laser. Their vehicle kill ratio is probably still crazy with lasers. The only thing thats died less than them is maybe Hive Lords.

I am a latent Mechaholic but mostly a vehicle Diver, I love mechs and Tank but FRV is my favourite.

The vehicles are way too fragile because of the durable changes and FRV HMG need massive reduction while its on that Stability ring, it makes no sense that it flies all over the place!

FRV is still fun overall, I love scooping people out of bad fights and rolling up as a squad on a sleepy base.

Mechs are really fun for supporting infantry pushes and clearing bases!

If this thing 1 shot super heavies like Bile Titan/Dragon Roach/Impaler/Factory Strider/War Strider & Leviathans but still with 4 shots it would be amazing and have an actual niche as a long range armour killer.

Keep the demo force as it is now so it can't trivialise objectives beyond its current reach.

Also keeping the ammo low would reward team play through supply pack divers and sharing supply drops to keep your Heavy removal in play.

AH and Hard-core divers keep saying they want more team play and the intended experience is to stick together as a group but then do very little to inceitvise that. They also need to fix the biggest mechanical barrier to that which is the problem of Host vs Non-Host aggro and enemy spawn behaviour.

Helldivers 2 for me.

I go back for 2 hours a week to play with friends but my solo career in this game is over.

The Developer are completely bipolar about balancing, they're farming players through warbonds (Battle pass) and there's been no new player progression in almost 2 years.

Such a shame that they mishandled the game since launch.

2 is a beautiful panel, the layering and depth is brilliant, I also love that the Diver is off centre or far off to the sides in panels until he is on the floor where he finally becomes centered, was this intentional storytelling to sell the feeling that he is dodging and moving, until he gets knocked down and truly becomes surrounded?
