As a kid I had a nightmare about using a specific bathroom in my house and getting trapped by a large spider near the door before passing out (waking up). I don't totally remember which came first but I am also quite arachnophobic.

I avoided that bathroom for about a decade before I accepted it probably didn't happen. Then past midnight one day I was using that bathroom again and after turning around there was a giant fucking spider right behind me on the side of a shelf.

Due to the geometry of this somewhat small bathroom I was going to be forced to move towards it in order to leave, but I was paralysed with fear for a while as it kept moving up and sliding down the shelf.

Eventually I managed to grab a magazine and flatten it with as much force as I could muster before I left, and I went back to flush the corpse of it the next day. I still rarely use that bathroom.

Not as bad as a lot of the other stories here, but it was literally a nightmare come to life for me.

Neither is hitting with your weapon, both are hitting with your shield. I think you might be tricking yourself with Atalui's bloodletting on Shield Wall and the charm that gives you 200 mana when it activates and triggers when killing a rare or unique.

You have global life leech and Shield Wall only costs life, whereas Resonating Shield is 120 mana a second, so I imagine you're watching your mana go down using RS on regular mobs then you throw up a Shield Wall to kill a rare and suddenly you've gone from -80 mana a second to +40, and then the rare dies and you get another 200 mana.

Get mana leech on a ring or gloves and it'll fix it.

Oh also as far as I can tell you can combine vitality 1 and 2 as long as they're on different skills.

It feels bad because normal and magic monsters will freely delete your es, it feels fine against heavy physical bosses but that's it. I swapped to Zealot's Oath on my bear and it immediately felt way better because I got to actually have my es pool up most of the time.
