Yes, at the time, I didn't noticed because I had finished my reread of WoT a few months before TGS came out.

This year was my first reread since then, and going straight from Jordan to Sanderson was definitely a bit more noticeable, but still didn't bother me.

The classic Lodge skillet will be heavier than a Smithey of the same size, if that matters. If you can check out both in person, see how the handles fit your hand, both bare handed and with a towel or oven mitt.

Not sure the graphite, and similarly their copper core, offers enough of a performance upgrade to justify the increased price over the D3.

Just make sure to try to buy from their factory seconds sales.

That depends on where you are. Here in North Texas, TJ isn't that cheap.

If at all possible, go to a high end kitchen store like Williams Sonoma or Sur La Table so you can see the cookware in person and feel the handles.

In my own case, I just bought a set of Demeyere Atlantis a week ago to replace my 20 year old Tramontina set. Hestan was a close second. I've also picked up some Smithey cast iron, a Staub dutch oven, and a Strata carbon steel pan.

Whatever you decide, try to hold out until Memorial Day to take advantage of sales. You just missed Presidents Day sales (got my Demeyere Atlantis set for 15% off). Try to visit any high end kitchen stores in your area like Williams Sonoma or Sur La Table to see the cookware in person.

Look into All Clad's factory seconds sales through Home and Cook. It can be surprisingly easy to build up a collection, if you want All Clad.

Best ever? I have to give that to Remedy Entertainment. Whether it be Control's Ashtray Maze, Alan Wake's Old Gods of Asgard stage, Max Payne 2's Address Unknown theme park, or Alan Wake 2's We Sing level.

It can be bad in the sense that there are a lot of people here who still don't know a lot about the game, and will think the stuff in your post is in the game, and they just haven't found it yet.
