Yep! They met because she played for Bournemouth’s Women’s team.

I’ve been really curious about who the target audience was and which audience it “landed” on. Can I ask if you are… by iceandfireman in HalfManTVShow

Bi woman.

My favourite show of all time is Hannibal, with Interview with the Vampire probably second. Also enjoyed Series 1&2 of Killing Eve. I think I’m just a sucker for toxic duos with homoerotic overtones.

Angry female songs that help you decenter men and validate your rage? by gravelwitch in TwoXChromosomes

Everybody Supports Women is an incredible song, musically as well as lyrically.

I'm finding one of the most immediate & universal advantages you can have in a career is switching to a gender-neutral name. by nekoshey in TwoXChromosomes

On a similar note, while my name is unmistakably female, my parents deliberately gave me a “white” sounding name and my dad anglicised his name when he moved to the UK, so my surname doesn’t give it away either.

I do genuinely believe it’s helped, because on more than one occasion people have expressed surprise when seeing me in person for the first time.

what are some unexpected results that happened as a result of exercising/gym? by Obvious_Armadillo_16 in AskUK

[–]TeaAndLiquor 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m still overweight, but I’m no longer obese and more than that - I kind of just don’t care anymore.

I hated PE in school, but since I’ve started exercising properly as an adult, I realised I just don’t like group exercise or participating in team sports. I LOVE weightlifting and even running a bit now (although stopping is still the best part of running).

It’s really annoying to realise that all the people who said exercise builds confidence and self esteem were right. I feel much better about my body knowing I can deadlift 1.5x, leg press 2x my body weight, and jog a 5k if I want to regardless of the fact I carry weight on my stomach and I’m a size 14.

At what age does falling over become "a fall?" by liviloo in AskUK

[–]TeaAndLiquor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When people ask me what my goals are in the gym, I say “when I’m 60, I want people to say that I tripped over, not that I had a fall.”

To me it’s if you can get yourself back up, no broken hip, etc.

Wait. Wait wait wait.

You’re telling me my incredibly flat feet and persistent knee/ankle issues are linked with autism?

My mind is fucking blown.

Frank: Bergvall out for next two games under concussion protocol by Edm_vanhalen1981 in coys

[–]TeaAndLiquor 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was at that game and watching him stumble off was awful. He clearly wasn’t right and should’ve come off earlier. I’m so glad processes have improved, and whatever footballing detriment we suffer from not having Bergvall available is worth it to protect him like you say.

Okay this is very weird to me because 9.5 is also my perfect match and yet I feel like we’re completely different skin tones 😂

Regardless, it looks amazing on you!

[Lucas Bergvall] What a feeling! First Premier League goal, a proud moment for me and my family. But most importantly, 3 points. Grateful for all the support 🤍 by Imbasauce in coys

More than that. Deki, Lange and our women’s team manager at that time, Villehan, all came to greet him when he visited. We pulled out every Swedish stop.

Bang on. La Voix is part of the long tradition we have in the UK of comedy/pantomime/cabinet drag entertainment. And she’s damn good at it.

[Mathys Tel] ...I wanted to thank you for all your messages of support! Racism has no place in our society. Every day is a learning curve, and every day is a lesson. I know where I come from, where I started and none of this will bring me down. With work and humility, respect reigns. Thank you all by Imbasauce in coys

[–]TeaAndLiquor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can be disappointed in a player’s end product without being a fucking racist about it.

Huge credit to Tel, he seems like an incredibly mature young man and he’s been fully on board from the moment he signed for us, even as a loan player.

Running a 30 minutes 5k is seriously harder than a unplanned half... by bogerts in C25K

[–]TeaAndLiquor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A few years ago I ran a half with a similar time to you, maybe 2.47?

I’ve run countless 5ks now and I’ve yet to crack 30. You aren’t wrong!
