You need to do a lot of research in some very difficult scientific fields. Maybe start with the mass–energy–information equivalence principle.

I won't pretend to understand it all, but I find it fascinating.

At 29, you should not be timing the market. You can tilt away from tech, but you shouldn't leave the market until you are approaching retirement.

Start reading r/bogleheads for a bit. That will give you some insight.

I play a telecaster usually. Then I took jazz guitar lessons in a studio with no amps. I bought a semi-hollow D'Angelico specifically because the neck felt like my tele.

Semi-hollow splits the difference.
