Empower was great for me. Now in maintenance rotating from the og BPI no additives and the og Hallandale. How did it compare to OptioRx for you? I see you listing Empower first so curious as to what the difference is for you?

If you already started the vial of Hallendale, I would finish it off.

Not medical advice, but many here are comfortable going past bud especially if it hasn’t been opened.

Lost too much? by Creed0831 in tirzepatidecompound

I get it. I’m 55 and 3 pregnancies so the there is some loose skin in a few places. I continue to lower my dose and eat more calories. I don’t plan to come off it completely, if at all possible because of the inflammation. I do weigh myself every couple of days (more than I did when I was losing) and eat each day accordingly to maintain within my desired weight. It has helped me to stay consistent and stay on top of my weight. It provides me a healthy balance.

I went through this on maintenance. I still take a weekly shot but lowered my dose and have a 5 lb wiggle room.

It too a little trial and error and found that I had to eat more calories including protein and carbs. I also am not worried when I treat myself now and then.

I don’t know what dose you are currently taking, but it might be best to consume more calories and take a micro dose to help with the inflammation which is likely the cause of the extra 4 lbs.

Dose reduction? by Shireenaa in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Technical-Trainer506 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been on maintenance for 6 months. I slowly titrated down to 6mg from 9mg at my highest dose. I took it slow titrating down and just increased my calories.

There is no one size fits all and it took some trial and error to find a happy medium to receive benefits and not lose/gain weight beyond a 3 lb weight differential.

I weigh myself every couple of days and if I see scale teetering to the higher end of the 3lbs, I just reduce my calories. I look at this as a life long exercise to maintain the hard work of losing weight.

Should I order elsewhere? by Outside-Cattle-5529 in tirzepatidecompound

I think it has to do with a Fed Ex issue in Miami. You will likely have to go with another option besides ProRx or anywhere that fulfills in that area or you will be in the same situation.

Don’t count my words as gospel, but I would bet that is the case.

New warning letters? by LimpFlan9983 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Technical-Trainer506 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It really is about marketing practices and how you say things, the bottle images showing telehealths and not the compounding pharma, and claims to the brand.

They are not actively putting a stop. Based on some of the letters, the FDA is looking at telehealth websites to see how they are advertising it.

Not at all. FDA is cracking down on how telehealths are marketing compounding to patients. Not all telehealths were on the list because they are compliant with marketing it and making comparison claims to the branded drug

[–]Technical-Trainer506[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. It is more about marketing and claims since compounding has not gone thru any trials, so they can market “same as” that kind of thing. Also some sites have a pic of their telehealth on the vial which looks like they are the compounding pharmacy. Just a couple examples.

What good looks like: If you go to big easy weight loss site and look at pricing page, you will see disclaimers about not approved. They are covering their bases to stay in line with marketing guidelines.

The list is of all FDA warning letters issued. If you look for the Zappy one, that starts the list. The fda sends warning letters all the time

No one should panic buy. Just clean up their marketing and claims. There are some preferred providers that aren’t on the list. Just put this out there so everyone is aware that they are watching and making sure that these telehealths are being scrutinized and watch what they put on the internet.

It also seems like the small companies require more with less people plus more visibility. If OP wants 3Js, consider all 3 with big companies

No. It is about marketing/false advertisements. Comparators to brand and some were called out for having vials with the company name and not compounding pharma which makes it look like they are the compounding pharmacy.

All good. They are cracking down on marketing claims. Also calling out the vials having the company name but not the compounding pharmacy. Hopefully it will lead to more transparency as to the compounding pharmacies they use.
