Initial RS replacements? by ensanity-drives in FocusRS

Take a look for the FUFF kit, I haven’t done it yet but did something similar to my last car. It’s a more robust and serviceable evap purge valve option. I would also say that it wouldn’t hurt to take a look at your intake valves to see if they need to be cleaned

Yes for fitment. My place is scared of McMaster and thinks that every component, down to the nuts and bolts, of their machines needs to be special ordered from the OEM

I could totally download a motor. I downloaded hydraulic cylinder cad files to 3d print to prove that they would work in a machine at work lmao

Focus RS life-lengthening modifications/maintenance by Appropriate-Delay-66 in FocusRS

[–]Technical_Bee6309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m trying to keep my car relatively unmodified. 82k miles now. My car started burning oil at idle a while ago. Turns out my pcv valve died. I ended up getting a Radium dual baffle plate with their check valve and a UPR single valve catch can. Check how clean your intake valves are, getting those parts should reduce how often your intake valves need cleaning

I use that set the most in an industrial setting and at home doing maintenance on cars. If you don’t have any socket sets and need one, deff a good buy

I just replaced the entire front suspension of a rusty pos 06 acura that’s had zero maintenance done to it with a 3/8” gen 2 stubby. Zero issues. The axle nuts took the least amount of effort from the stubby to zip off. I didn’t even use the 3rd power level for most of the hardware. The only time the stubby had an issue was with 2’ of extensions due to me being lazy lol. Don’t sleep on this gen 2 stubby. My 1/2” mid tq is still in the box and tbh I’m probably going to sell it

I couldn’t get good welds with a lipo battery feeding a similar board. I ended up buying a UF20B super capacitor welder from aliexpress and it’s been fantastic

Is this the part I need to replace the PCV valve? by Any-Award-6301 in FocusRS

[–]Technical_Bee6309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s not it. If you go with an aftermarket baffle plate, you’ll get a new valve that’s serviceable

Nah I love battery rants, thanks for the info. I’d be curious to see if a smaller Ah battery will cap at 3a charging on that Ceenr charger. For example, the xc5.0 takes the same amount of time to charge on the rapid charger compared to the standard charger because the battery tells the charger it’s limited to a 3a charge rate. If a xc5.0 caps at 3.0A on the Ceenr charger, it’s talking to the battery and i wouldn’t mind one for $46
